Merry Meredith Vieira has been the calming pretty face on TV being a talking head newscaster and personality for decades now. We all know her and will be sad that she has retired in a way. She seems lately to always be leaving something. She left the Today Show, The View and now Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Game Show. However she never left her husband who suffers from an incurable disease, a chronic illness.

Now she does what we do. She is finally enjoying spending her time with her husband, Richard Cohen who is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and her three kids. They are the hottest couple now to make it to the cover of AARP Magazine of which 33 Million members get a copy of the magazine. Yes, the American Association of Retired People. I guess she has retired. She is finally a free woman not having to answer to or bow down to TV executives.

Meredith left the “Today” show in June after 5 years as the co-anchor. She also co-hosted “The View” from 1997-2006. Since 2002 she hosted “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” I guess she wanted to be a millionaire when she decided to take on all this work simultaneously. They were all great easy jobs that she couldn’t resist taking. Her longest partnership is her marriage since 1986.

Richard Cohen has been living with multiple sclerosis for 40 years. He is now 63 years old and was diagnosed at age 25 with multiple sclerosis. It is a chronic disease that attacks the central nervous system. She is something of an icon in that after their second date, he hit her with the news if his illness. She stayed with him. Her father was a Doctor, and for some reason the illness did not frighten her away. He later wrote a book called ‘Blindsided” which is a memoir.

Her three children are grown now . Her daughter Lilly is a theater major, her son Gabe is studying journalism and her other son Ben graduated in June and lives in China. She is immensely proud of her children because she admits they saw her more on television than in person. America is missing her because we saw her more on TV than we saw most of our relatives in person too. Enjoy retirement Meredith.

　

She is the first woman ever to be The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund. She is the most powerful woman in the world. She is Christine Lagarde who speaks fluent French and English. With the world’s finances in a mess she is the one woman that has emerged as the most influential person who can prevent financial doom on earth. We live in a global society so what happens in one country can happen in other countries.

I reported in the past about the first transvestite super model, the first lesbian country western singer and the first openly gay couple adopting children on network TV but this first surpasses all the other firsts because women are usually the forces of reason in our lives and finally the first woman is in charge of overseeing the global wealth of the earth.

With the world’s economy on the brink of disaster, this woman has emerged as the central player in the battle to prevent disaster. Christine Lagarde is an accomplished lawyer who became the first female Finance Minister of France. She is now the first woman to run the International Monetary Fund. She took over the IMF in July after Dominique Strauss Kahn was forced to resign due to his sexual scandals. She is a noticeable elegant woman who at six feet tall towers over most men in France.

With her striking silver hair, she is as respectable looking as her reputation. She will need all the attributes she can get in order to keep countries in overwhelming debt like Greece and Italy from failing due to their financial disasters. Each week lately seems to be just another turbulent week for world markets.

Christine worries that the world is facing stalled growth, high unemployment, potential social unrest from the people as a result and financial markets in disarray. It all sounds too familiar and too close to home. What could be worse? And with all these world problems in front of him, how could Strauss Kahn find time for such a diverse sex life?

We are involved in a continuum of the crisis in 2008. Christine want to be desperately optimistic that things will get better. The United States’ biggest problem is the political bickering. She hopes that both the Republicans and Democrats could come to terms about the deficit and our debt. There is a degree of uncertainty where markets need certainty.

Trying to save the world’s economy keeps her busy. At the G20 Summit earlier this month she helped persuade the dysfunction Italian government to accept IMF monitoring of its finances. She will lend a country money but has strict conditions that steps will be taken to fix your financial problems.

The IMF has 187 member countries and is based in Washington D.C. It sits on a fund of $184 Billion Dollars. That is not nearly enough to meet all the potential needs of all the countries in Europe facing financial disaster. The United States is the IMF’s largest contributor. But now we are reluctant to contribute any more money to bail out Europe. However, China and Russia that are also member countries that have plenty of cash, have indicated that they may be willing to help. Letting Europe down will have major consequences on many other economies. 20% of U.S. exports go to Europe. There is a strong linkage between U.S. Banks and European Banks. There are plenty of Europeans being employed by U.S. companies.

Before her employment, the IMF had a reputation of being a boys club. What matters to her is that she would not be the last woman more than that she is the first woman there.

She had a good childhood until her father died when she was 16. He died of Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Her Mother was a strong woman that raised 4 children alone. Christine draws strength from her mother. When Christine applied for her first job with a Paris Law Firm, she was told don’t expect a partnership at this firm because you are a woman! She packed up and said she won’t work for them in any position.

Her self confidence quickly landed her a job in the Paris offices of Baker & McKenzie one of the largest law firms in the world. 14 years later she moved to Chicago to become its first female chairman. A French woman at age 43 was running a major American Law Firm. Then at the top of her profession, France came calling and she took a significant pay cut and took a job for her government.

Eventually, she became France’s first woman to serve as its Finance Minister in 2007 for Prime Minister Sarkozy. She is frustrated that the banks give themselves large pieces of the companies profits. She values her boyfriend and her child more than anything. The buzz is that France wants her to run and win the next Presidential Election in France. For now she has this job for 5 years. Good luck Christine and save the world from financial doom.

　

The sexy sax. A instrument banned by the church and that helped launch a career to be a president. Yes, we are talking about the invention of the musical brass horn. The inventor Adolph Sax was born in Belgium 197 years ago. He was the son of a musical instrument maker. He invented his own musical instrument in the 1840’s.

It has a reed mouthpiece like a woodwind, but a body not made of wood but of brass. It became know as the saxophone. Classical music had no place for the saxophone. It was limited to military marching bands. Not everyone appreciated its sultry sexy sound. It is the only musical instrument that can take on the phrasing of the human voice.

Pope Pious X banned the use of the saxophone in church services on the grounds that it could provoke scandal. So, how does a priest, the highest priest in the Catholic Church, know anything about sexy or scandal if he doesn’t get any and is void of scandal in his life? The feelings that the sounds from this instrument invoke did not be unheard by the most religious.

Once the instrument was used by American jazz musicians, there was no turning back. In night clubs and in old movies like “Some Like It Hot” with two late great movie stars in drag, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis. In the movie made in 1959 Tony is playing it all the time. The great jazz composer Dave Brubeck loved the sax and featured it as a solo instrument in his “Take 5” famous song.

In every New Orleans band you will find the sax being used by someone. Sax jazz greats include Charlie Parker and John Coltrane that made the sounds speak to you. The sax also got infiltrated into popular culture as well. It even made it as part of the Children’s popular series Sesame Street. There you will find the character Hoots the Owl who plays the sax.

More recently for at least a decade Lisa Simpson from the TV cartoon “The Simpsons” has been entertaining us on her saxophone. But perhaps the most famous performance came from then Governor Bill Clinton who picked up a sax and entertained all of America and probably boosted his appeal to voters.

Probably the most recent and most famous was the big black guy in Bruce Springstein’s East Street Band, the late great Clarence Clemons. In every song when Bruce took a break from singing something, Clarence chimed in with a great solo. Sadly, Clarence just died this past June at the age of 69. He put the instrument back on the map in pop culture.

I think that this relatively new born instrument still has a very long future in music. Kids are learning how to play it in many music schools and as electives in grade schools all over the world now. I wonder if Mr. Sax the inventor of such a thing knew how cool his invention would become generations later.

He is the Hitler of The Republican Party a lobbyist that owns the votes . He is neither a member of Congress nor the holder of any public office. He is a conservative activist and lobbyist named Grover Norquist who is at the center of the deadlock at the Joint Deficit Reduction Negotiations because he is holding pledges from practically every Republican Senator and Congressman that signed, promising to never vote for anything that would raise taxes.

He had nearly every Republican in government sign his Taxpayer Protection Pledge. If they break their word and vote for something that promotes increased taxes, he is so powerful that they can expect a primary challenge in the next election. The negotiations are an effort to reduce the national deficit by nearly 1.2 Trillion Dollars and he is at the heart of the negotiations. They had hoped to reach that goal by a combination of raising taxes and cutting spending.

This guy has held all to his pledge controlling 279 votes including the Speaker of the House, the Senate Minority Leader and all six Republican Members of the Joint Committee on Deficit Reduction. He is possibly the most powerful guy in our government and most Americans don’t even know his name or what he looks like. He is the Godfather over the most well known and powerful Republicans in office today. They are his property and if they want to stay in politics they have to listen to him.

Going as far back as the Ronald Regan era, Grover has been controlling politicians with his “Creating Americans for Tax Reform,” The Taxpayer Protection Pledge back in 1985. He is proud to say there has not been a tax increase since 1990 and takes full credit for that. Newt Gingrich signed it in 1998 when he was Speaker of the House. The more signatures he has collected the more his influence has grown.

He boldly says, It is difficult to win a Republican Primary without taking the Pledge.” That sounds like blackmail to me! All the candidates do it so they can join the club of money hungry politicians. I wrote a blog on November 9^th about how politicians become very rich once in office because they do whatever the lobbyist says to do . They are not for the American people; they are elected to serve the lobbyist.

The signatures on this Pledge not only includes 270 members of congress and all the present presidential candidates with the lone exception of Jon Huntsman. We all know he can’t win anyway. All that leverage has made Norquist ’s breakfast morning meetings a must attend event. The Godfather has called a meeting!

These are weekly off the record strategy sessions. Everyone want’s to attend. There are people from Capital Hill, House and Senate, think tanks, tea party groups and business groups. He is a Libertarian that believes that Washington is controlling our lives through the taxes it raises to fund big government. His goal is to “chop it in half and shrink it again to where we were at the turn of the century.” This not is talking 1900 not 2000. In essence, 8% GDP.

Does he realize that that was before Social Security, Medicare, Welfare Assistance and Unemployment Assistance. This nut job wants to cut all these valuable services to the American people? He thinks these agencies make people’s lives stepped on and more difficult. He is at the core of all the nonsense that has been said in the Republican Party about people should just help themselves.

At just 12 years old and volunteering for the Nixon Administration Campaign, he said his pledge idea came to him while riding on a school bus. This is not a legal document, this pledge is not in our Constitution, this piece of paper is simply a controlling trap to any politician with the threat of a continuing career on the line. He has been planning and working towards HIS power all his life. But why? I think he is crazy and no one cares because they are making too much money by being on his side.

Grover Norquist is like Hitler in that he is not interested in compromise. His methods are ugly and takes no prisoners. Those who refuse to sign the pledge are subjected to primary fights against well funded opponents who are backed by Norquist. Yes, money talks. He denies his direct involvement and simply says that the voters determine the fate of a candidate meanwhile he is spreading the names all around towns of who he wants in office.

He makes it perfectly clear that if a candidate does not sign the pledge he will try everything to destroy them. They have to march like Hitler demanded to march like him. Many Republican Congressmen fear retaliation from Norquist if they even suggest that a tax increase for the wealthiest Americans should be up for discussion in the current deficit negotiations.

Democrats like Senator Harry Reid have been demonizing Norquist on a daily basis. Even some senior Republicans like Senator Allen Simpson, admits,” He may well be the most powerful man in America today who doesn’t care if the country goes to hell! Where does Norquist get his multi-million budget from to promote his no tax platform?”

Is he getting his money from a few people or is it from most Americans?

It is listed as a non-profit group but it has been disclosed that much of the money comes from corporate companies. Many politicians regret signing and want to know what the status of limitations is on the thing, When can they get out of it! If they sign the pledge and break it they are destroyed career wise. If they don’t sign the pledge they are also destroyed!

This blackmailer said, “If they sign it and keep the pledge they win the primary, the general, they get to govern and I’ve helped make this all possible!”

The Magnificent Wizard OZ. Your Doctor should look better than you and Dr. Oz looks pretty good. Some women say he is the hottest doctor on TV since Gorge Clooney left the Emergency Room show. His health success has now poured over into his professional success. His show, “The Dr. OZ Show,” is now being seen in 112 countries and he just finished his 400^th episode. And he is not finished talking about people’s bodies.

He loves to tell people to get past being trapped in their bodies. Most of us are covered in too much fat being about 50 pounds overweight or we are suffering from being addicted to too much salt or caffeine. He can’t really address any of these problems because he has been fit and trim all his life.

He is a heart surgeon but has become a health guru constantly giving helpful hints for great health. I wish these kind of rich guys would use their influence to change the marketing gods into taking the unhealthy stuff off of our supermarket shelves. Anything in a box or package is probably bad for your health! The supermarket is full of boxes.

Salt he says is our enemy. Then why is there a salt shaker on every table in a restaurant and an ingredient in every box? Do something about that Magnificent Wizard OZ ! Salt happens to travel with bad things in your body. Most of our salt comes from processed foods. If you gotta have that flavor, make sure your blood pressure is good.

OZ has served as a health expert on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” since 2004. On sleep deprivation he says that your sleep patterns is a reflection on your emotional health. If you are not at peace with yourself you are going to have voices in your head keeping you up all night. Usually it is the voice of my wife yelling at me about something.

You don’t fall asleep, you glide into sleep gently. When the sun sets, it sends out long orange rays which turns on the melatonin production in our brain. In modern day America, the bright lights are always on. So we never have the natural melatonin that helps us go asleep. Yes, we should have learned from the old American Indians. The would watch the sun set and then naturally go to sleep.

Nowadays, we have women staying up all night on their bright computers, then running around trying to capture sunrises. He says that if you can’t sleep don’t do it the Michael Jackson way! Skip on the sleeping pills too! Go out and buy orange colored light bulbs and use those in your room late at night. You can still read with them and work with them. 70 Million Americans suffer from sleep deprivation.

Set a rhythm or routine with your sleep habits. Don’t take melatonin supplements either. You are probably taking too much or too little at the wrong times anyway. Anything you take should be 2 hours before you want to sleep. And watch your caffeine intake! If you can’t sleep at night, don’t take anything with caffeine in it after noon. That includes soda and tea.

The bright light of the computer screen and the TV will naturally stimulate your brain. I wish it would make me smarter too!

The number one symptom for a menopausal woman is that she can’t sleep according to Dr. OZ. She’ll even wander around in a mall on Black Friday aimlessly just because she is probably menopausal and sleep deprived! Sleep drives heart disease and obesity.

There are 4 things the brain tells us to crave. Sex, water, food and sleep. Is she satisfying two cravings if she is sleeping while having sex ? Keep healthy! I need a nap.

　

　

　

Here you saw the first transgender supermodel, the first lesbian country western singer and now the first TV show’s depiction of a gay couple adopting a baby that is a network TV first. I spoke about the supermodel on March 11^th and the singer on November 17^th. Now we have ABC’s hit comedy “Modern Family.” The show has been accepted and liked by everyone with little opposition and won multiple Emmy’s in multiple years.

The Conservatives love it even though it is about various types of families Americans share and how they cope with life’s .problems. It is a family show even though there is a gay couple, older man married to a hot Hispanic and a dysfunctional “normal” family with children.. The point is that the sexual orientation has nothing to do with who you are as a person.

Eric Stonestreet is straight in real life and plays a gay character on “Modern Family.” They have an adopted girl and are about to adopt another child in the story line soon. Still no opposition from the conservatives. In real life, for many years it was nearly impossible for gay couples to adopt. We are lucky that times have changed in the courts and in family value views to find this type of an adoption fine.

The men had a kissing scene and Michele Bachman said nothing.; perhaps because they both aren’t so very well dressed. They are sloppy enough to pass for straight men until they speak and the gayness flows. There hasn’t even been a backlash from the gay community about their flamboyance. Some gays feel that the characters Mitch and Cam made it easier for them to come out to their parents especially on holidays like today in front of all your relatives.

Rent or see tonight “Home For The Holiday’s” a old movie starring Robert Downey Jr. and Charles Durning. In that movie the father has to hose down the guys in the family to stop them from fighting on the front lawn. It is anything but a thankful reunion of families. Yes, families that get together for Thanksgiving sometimes could turn out to be anything but good. It was also a good comedy that dwells on social issues. People think Eric is gay because he plays a gay man. People also thought Charlton Heston was Jewish because he played Moses in a movie.

Eric Stonestreet did not originally want to be an actor. He studied sociology and criminal justice, and his goal in life was to be a warden in a prison. Most people want to be doctors, lawyers or Indian chiefs not prison wardens! Most sociology majors want to be social workers or professors. He is also a very large and overweight man. Not your typical movie star but everyone loves his work. He won an Emmy for his role and no one remembers him acting in anything else.

Stonestreet also said that he has always been fascinated with crime and punishment meanwhile he is jolly and happy most of the time on the show and even dresses as a clown often on the show. He grew up in a town called Leavenworth .that is right outside of Kansas City. There are about 6 penitentiaries there. Prisons have always been the backdrop to his childhood. This guy is nuts! Does that mean if you live near an ocean you should be an oceanographer? Stonestreet grew up on a pig and cow farm in Kansas. So, that is why he is fat! There I said it ! Hate me! Thank goodness he chose acting because he is good at it and he probably would have been the funniest prison warden around.

Today on Thanksgiving Day, Stonestreet has partnered with the organization “Feeding America” and Pepto-Bismol which many of you are reaching to take after your own overeating. They are feeding the hungry this Thanksgiving. There are 15 Million children that go to bed hungry every night. In this country , this superpower, where the rich are so very rich, and we produce so much food, we have failed to manage our wealth and our supplies and lack the caring to use our resources to even care for those who need it most.

He is trying to do something about the tragedy here in America. Marcus Dixon has a lot to be thankful for. We all should be thankful for whatever we can enjoy in our lives. He is a guy who had to fight the obstacles he encountered as a young man and the injustice he has had to live with for the past 8 years. He is now a 27 year old football player for the New York Jets. Number 97. Not too long ago he was in jail as a sexual predator.

Now he is free to play for the Jets. How did that happen? His story involves race, sex, crime and punishment. He got all these problems in his home town of Rome, Georgia. In 2003 he was a confused teenager locked up in prison. Until his senior year in high school he had a pretty normal happy life.

He was the biggest and best thing at his school. He is 6 feet 4 inches and 260 pounds. He was one of the top defensive players in the country with nearly perfect grades too. He was bound for Vanderbilt University. He is black and his adopted white father said, “He could have gone anywhere. Marcus could have gone to Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, but yet he wanted to go to Vanderbilt a college know for its academics not football.

His white parents, Ken and Perry Jones rescued Marcus from a badly broken home at age 10. They love each other and consider them parents and son. Just like in the Sandra Bullock movie, “The Blind Side” only this real life story almost had a very bad ending. But in an old fashioned southern town, racists still prevail. When they adopted a black boy, the white family broke up. The grandmother who lived there moved out when the boy moved in and the brother of the father stopped talking to them.

Located just 70 miles north west of Atlanta the sentiment is that whites should stay with whites and blacks should stay with blacks. Days after committing to Vanderbilt, Marcus was thrown into jail. He had sex with a sophomore at his school called Pepperell School. A girl claimed he followed her into a classroom trailer and raped her. He said that the sex was consensual and had been planned.

There was a witness another boy who said she told him that they wanted it but that her father was a very racist guy and she was nervous if he found out. She was afraid what would happen to her if her father found out she had sex with a black guy. She thought that he would kill both of them.

The District Attorney failed to get a rape conviction but managed to call him a sexual predator because at the time Marcus was 18 and legally an adult. The girl was just shy of 16 considered a minor. The prosecutor used this law to get a conviction even though there has never been a case reported on such close an age or involving teens.

Marcus got 10 year in prison with no chance for parole. He missed his white parents more than football. The press reported the story that helped him get an appeal from the Georgia Supreme Court and Marcus was out of prison. One of the few schools that would take him was Hampton College. He thrived there both athletically and academically. In the 2008 draft he was projected as a late round pick. After the draft the Cowboys signed him to the non-roster practice squad for 2 years. Just before last season, the Cowboys cut him. Then his agent told him the jets signed him.

Without the appeal he would have still been in jail. His parents now get to see him in the NFL not in prison. Things are well now. Since he is just 27 years old now he still has a lot of football in him, Someday he wants to coach as well. As to the family rift that Marcus’s father eluded to, Jones and his brother are again on speaking terms and the whole family is talking about football and how thankful that a doomed life and career can turn into the exact opposite. Marcus is very thankful for his turnaround. We should be thankful for forgiveness in our own society and families too. Happy Thanksgiving!

Diane Keaton is the closest actress we have to Catherine Hepburn. Both had a great career in the movies. They share their style that it is ok for women to wear pants. Both represented the strong opinionated but lovable female lead in both dramas and comedies.

Diane Keaton has made over 40 movies and counting. She starred in very well known movies like The Godfather, Reds and Annie Hall and has won an Oscar for her work in Annie Hall. She admits to sleeping with many of her leading men like Warren Beady, Al Pacino and Woody Allen.

She has written a very revealing memoir called ‘Then Again.” People tell her that she is funny in her movies but she doesn’t think so. A comic has to have a sense of timing she claims not to. She doesn’t tell jokes but is in comedies. She has been nominated for 4 Academy Awards in the past.

In her book, Keaton reveals for the first time that she was bulimic. Throughout her career she was always surrounded by women that were constantly monitoring their weight. She got caught up into the bulimic pattern. She said that purging was disgusting and therefore she ended up doing it too. It became an obsession and a addiction.

During the filming of Annie Hall , Woody Allen suggested that she was neurotic because she was always sad or worried about something and had self esteem issues. He suggested that she see a psycho-analyst who also helped her stop her bulimic issues. The talking cure as she calls it helped her stop.

Her real name is Diane Hall. That seems easy enough, why change it to Keaton? There was a connection to the Annie Hall movie in that she was the girlfriend to Woody Allen who wrote all the dialogue for her, he knew her well and she didn’t ad lib at all. He also suggested she go with her iconic fashion sense.

The book also focuses on her relationship with her mom, her men and her struggles.She reveals that her mother suffered from ahsheimers for 15 years and died in 2008. She feels that she is limited in her appeal in that she does not do accents or varied types of people in her roles like Merrill Streep who does it all. Throughout the years, her fans have loved the comfort zone of her not being so different in her persona even though it will be a different character in each movie.

She slept with 3 of the most famous actors and directors in film history and had leading roles with them in movies as well. How do you go to the quirky attraction of Woody Allen to the smooth handsome suave Warren Beatty? She claims to already had an attraction to Warren after she saw him in his movie ”Splendor In The Grass.” She was surprised to meet him and work with him 20 years later.

The man she really wanted to grow old with and marry was Al Pacino. She stared with him in both Godfather’s movies. In the first movie they were friends. In the second, Godfather II they were lovers. She admired how he was able to totally be the character he was playing.

She has also become a stylist recently and has her own product line of goods. Her sense of style she attributes to her mother who exposed her to museums and lots of traveling in her youth.

One thing for sure, there is someone who knows her in a great movie from every decade since the 70’s. not too many actresses are loved with each generation. She is a timeless actress throughout time. She was amazed to have been chosen to be in a movie starring Kianu Reeves and Jack Nicholson at the age of 57 to be the love interest.

America is on drugs and not on the good drugs of the 70’s. On October 17^th, I wrote about the doctors in Florida that seem to give out prescription drugs freely. Now I am talking about the doctors all over the country that are pushing drug use on all Americans. It is stupefying all and are not fun. Who needs drugs if it is not fun? I can get much healthier eating right and living a healthy lifestyle. Many Doctors are giving out prescriptions illegally for cash profits. I guess they have student loans too.

We are already hooked on high sugar and high salt diets. Look on any popular brand food or drink in your supermarket, it will be full of substances that are down right bad for you. The good foods like meats and vegetables are very expensive so lets buy a box of cheap crap and hope it at least stops the hunger pains.

Don’t be frightened that someone is giving your kid drugs either. I’m sure you are taking something and you are making your kid take some type of “medicinal” substance prescribed by your trusty drug dealer, I mean your doctor. Can they take any more than what they are prescribed? We all know that too much of any drug can cause permanent damage just look at what happened to Rush Limbaugh!

You can’t just decide to give a bunch of innocent drug free kids some sort of psychedelic! What if it interacts badly with their Wellbutrin? Their Abylify? Their Adderall? Their Ritalin? And their Monster Energy Drink? The kids are on drugs alright.

And that mind narrowing pharmaceutical crap Ritalin doesn’t open up their minds, it “levels and controls” them. Years ago the teachers had rulers in the classrooms not to measure anything but to whack the pain in the ass kid who wouldn’t calm down. Of course, you can’t do that anymore. Hitting is brutality. Now we give pre-schoolers drugs like Ritalin and make them into zombies.

These drugs are all about keeping bratty children in check. They are a substitute for parenting. Aderol is the drug of choice these days at colleges. What is more enjoyable? The extremely focused parties or the highly detail oriented sex? Obama is off in Australia now making the beds for our military to have a strong presence in that country in case China gets out of hand and we’ll have to go to war with China. Australia loves for the Americans to protect their country. Australia is glad to boast that in the last century, yes in 100 years, that Australia has gone to every crazy war America has gotten us into. And now, Australia has no choice but to love Americans. The American soldiers who served in Iraq will be all over their country for no particular reason.

The main reason we are leaving Iraq is that there was a law passed during the Bush Administration that was passed that put a time limit on the occupation of Iraq. This evacuation might look like a political boost for Obama in that he will be taking credit for the end of the war. The Law was called The Status of Forces Agreement which said by December 31^st,2011 we have to be lock stock and barrel all out of Iraq.

No one especially the political Republican candidates should be attacking President Obama for any kind of failure in the war because the end of this war was set in stone and dictated by the Bush Administration in the dying months of its tenure. The Status of Forces Agreement was signed by George Bush at the end of 2008 that dictated the withdrawal of all United States Forces to pre-approved bases. The end of U.S. combat operations. It also set in place this New Years Eve the unmovable deadline for all U.S. troops to get out. Therefore, Obama cannot take credit for ending the war.

Australia is like our far flung colony. It is also a land of people that settled there as outcasts from their original European roots just like America’s colonists looking for religious freedom in this part of the world. The Australians love America and we love their actors like, Nicole Kidman and her country western husband and Hugh Jackman and Russell Crow and a new slew of newcomers from that continent.

Bush recently got a standing ovation at a baseball game. How quickly we forget the mess he made of our country in the past 10 years. The war and our giant debt and the room that corporate rich guys are sharing with our politicians can all be attributed to the Bush era. When he left his approval rating was at 22% and has recently rises to 47%. How quickly we forget the damage he has done.

The republicans now are blaming Obama for releasing the troops and attributing the failure of this war to him. The law cannot make this withdrawal political. The President as well can not claim that he ended the war either. Skeptics are saying that Obama has let Iran win this war. No, Bush did that. We invaded and got rid of the Sunni leadership. Iran is Shiite.

America switched tribes. Iraq was the bulwark against Iran. Iraq was Sunni led. We put the Shiites in charge just like Iran. When George Bush invaded Iraq he brought Alquiada to Iraq where it didn’t even exist. Then he handed the country to Iran. After that, he labeled Iran “the axis of evil.” So, in fact it can be very strongly argued that our now highly rated former President George W. The bravest people in America now are the Wall Street Protestors all over America. While you sit in your warm homes even though you can’t afford to pay your mortgage or heating bills anymore, the street warriors are out there banging their drums, armed only in with their cardboard signs, getting assaulted by the police in just a small hope that the rich and powerful will soften up and share the nation’s wealth with the people. This is reminiscent of the French Revolution and any uprising in the Middle Ages where the poor towns people armed with nothing stormed the castles of the rich politicians and royalty of their day.

LEAVE THE PEOPLE ALONE In fact if every American in New York alone stopped working for just one day, the financial mess would cause much havoc to the corporate profit pocketbook that maybe then they would notice the frustration. Let these few bands of people do the work for most lazy Americans. They are now getting beatings and arrested. The news people are not even giving them much news coverage because the news reporters are owned by big rich corporations.

Halloween just passed and many of the protestors looked like walking zombies with the blood pouring from their faces after a beating from a cop getting paid overtime. All because the protestor dared to walk somewhere the rich Mayor Bloomberg decided they can not be. They got beaten in the middle of the night and their meager belongings and shelter of tents were thrown out into the trash. College graduates should have trick or treated to prepare the begging they will have to do to pay back their student loans and then go back to live with Mommy because they can’t even afford a home of their own. Their mortgage money is going towards their loans.

The Occupy Wall Street movement should not go away. A boycott should be planned for people not to spend any money for one day. However, we’ve been doing that already practically every day. Recently in Oakland , California where the cause has spread, the police brutally assaulted them. Their opposition were people risking their records with the possibility of being arrested armed only with signs saying I need a job, lost our home or. can’t pay for college. The government says, lets make them cry even more. That is how your tax dollars are being spent.

Leading the crowd there was an Iraq War Veteran to survive that mess to come home to no job and no perks for what he did to protect us here. No respect for his war uniform either. The police shot a canister right into his forehead! You don’t need to assault people with tear gas to clean out a public park. Were they preparing for a drug festival there? After all, that is all most people do in public parks. Drugs. This is a classic example of what America is today. America is an empire that is declining. Our political system is paralyzed with its own form of corruption through lobbyist and campaign fundraising out of control. Our culture is in decay with our youth playing video games all day and learning nothing. And now wealth and equality out of control. Lets not assault the few who do care enough to put their lives on the line; the American protestor. I do not think the assault on peaceful people holding up a message is our enemy.

We are due for a new American Revolution. Our last revolution was against the monarchy, the British, the birth of our new nation. This time a revolution is needed against the oligarchy, the rich and powerful people of corporations that own our politicians and have them working for their personal profits. We will not have an America if there are not some serious reforms put in place. The question is by who? The protestors do not have a real leader, no robin hood of sorts and our government is corrupt. Our beautiful land of the free and home for the brave is in decline. Our population is pitted against classes. One percent of the population owns and controls everything and they are not fair. They are as greedy as greed can be.

America has equal opportunity but not equal outcome. Most Americans have to struggle for everything they have. The wealthiest view is that they are being demonized because of their success. Well, they have become so successful because they unfairly did not share the success of their endeavors with their faithful employees. The fabric of this country’s success was that we were a tight nation of all Americans working together. Now we have CEO’s one person of a company built by many taking Billions in yearly profits for themselves like the names on the letterheads of Exxon/Mobil.

We need accountability for those at the top of the food chain of wealth. People don’t go to jail just for a speaking point or sound bite. People are going to jail for real justice.
