We All Get A Gun with No Questions Asked

Buy a bullet proof vest because you will probably need it all the time. The House just passed a bill allowing anyone to carry their guns across state lines. States like Arizona and West Virginia already allow almost anyone to carry a loaded firearm in public meanwhile in other states and big cities it can be a felony to carry a weapon in open sight. Quietly a new law is making its way through to Congress that will change all the differences to leaning towards us all wearing holstered guns everywhere like the old wild west of lawlessness in the frontiers of America 100 years ago where sheriffs and law men were scarce. Are we there again? I thought we all had pretty well employed police forces of well-trained folks who took mental exams and target practice before they were allowed to carry a weapon. Now we got folks buying guns on the streets at gun shows with no background checks and mental people allowed to buy guns. Folks are buying guns for their children and now we want laws to allow everyone to carry their guns in plain sight all over America? Buy a vest now!!
They are pushing for gun permits to be like drivers licenses good to own all across America. If you are allowed to carry a weapon in your home state, you will be allowed to carry your weapon in all the states. Why don’t we have laws like this with pot or other laws that are only good in certain states? The proposed law is called The Concealed Carry   Reciprocity Act is already approved in the House of Representatives and has the full support of President Trump. So if you buy a new wardrobe buy clothes that leave room to carry guns and sashes of bullets across your chest. Really? Do we really want to promote easy death and for conflicts to be judged immediately by gun fights? What a step backward for human sensibility.
The bill has 40 co-sponsors. There is sure to be another big debate over law enforcement, police departments and Second Amendment rights. Mississippi already has the 4th highest gun death rate in the country and has some of the weakest gun laws. Do ya think Trump should be looking at those numbers? No, he wants to surround himself with weapons and walls. In Mississippi pretty much anyone 18 or older can carry a weapon there. Should designers create jeans with gun pockets and ammunition flaps? How about an outside pocket in your purse for your gun? I think we need matching designer patterns of bullet proof vests but that is just silly me thinking of safety or even stupid survival. I want to carry a first aid pack on my back in case I survive a battle over a parking space without too many bullets aimed at my heart.
No there are NO bills trying to be passed for our safety. That would be silly! Sigh! There are many gun rights groups like the NRA, National Rifle Association and the USCCA, United States Concealed Carry Association that have successfully sold the Bill in conservative Republican states. We can all agree like the pot laws that there is a problem when you can smoke pot in one state and cross the line and all of a sudden be a criminal. Guns also have that same problem of acceptance across state lines. There are only 8 states that require Americans to have background checks, firearms training and have a need to carry a handgun. In most states it is easy to get a permit and require NO training to carry a lethal weapon. Some states don’t have any requirements. I guess lives are not important in most states anymore.
The gun promoters like the NRA contributed $30 million dollars to Trump’s election campaign and they take credit for his victory. Red states are spread all over rural America. Many of the people who live in rural areas do not get a quick response when they call 911 because the terrain is so vast. They want the ability to take the law in their own hands and let the best shooter with the biggest gun survive a bad situation. But in large cities where millions of people live closely it is a quick response to a 911 call and the police haul the bad guys away. It would be far worse if everyone in a large city was able to carry weapons. Innocent people would die from all the bullets spraying everywhere for every disagreement anywhere.
I don’t want to get my gun along with my keys, phone and wallet in the morning to deal with my new day every day. Humans should have the intelligence to not to choose death on a daily basis. That is why we have prisons and courts of law and juries to convict the bad guys and put them away for our safety. Where is the safety if we all carry lethal weapons? Should we go a step further where we could press a button in our cars that will turn the machine gun on too? This new gun law would be a disaster for major cities across the country that have well- funded large police forces. Every year New York takes in 50 million visitors from all over the country and have to deal with them and their concealed weapons and yet is the safest big city in America because the police force spends a lot of time stopping those weapons from being used in the city. A law like this would just make their job even harder to stop the use of weapons over silly disputes.
If people didn’t have knives or guns we could all survive a good old fist fight when really mad. More guns would just bring more violence. An increase in suicides and accidents would happen. With no National data base for concealed weapon permits who the hell even knows what and how many weapons would be everywhere with some nutty person? Right now with data collected New York and cities like it pretty much knows who has a legal weapon. With this law all bets will be off with no information about the description of a suspect. Do we really want less information to be available to our police forces?
Big city police departments are totally against this new law. THIS IS NOT JUST LIKE A DRIVERS LICENSE! To drive a car you need to pass a written exam and show the ability to drive a car. This law requires NOTHING and no knowledge of when and how to use a lethal weapon to end a life. Is driving a privilege but owning a gun a Constitutional right? I should not have to feel privileged to live. Owning a gun should be a privilege and NOT a right.
Thank God the Supreme Court has ruled in 2008 on the Second Amendment that you have the right to have a hand gun in your home for self-defense and it ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT give you the right to carry a concealed weapon everywhere.  Until the Supreme Court says you can carry a gun anywhere, leave the laws alone!
Wisconsin eased up on their laws against gun carry laws in 2011 and since then with more guns on the streets every year since 2011 fatal shootings have gone up, homicides have gone up and gun seized from city streets have gone up. We want this for all America?
I don’t want to live in a world where everyone can kill easily and quickly without much thought. Sadly just a few votes in the Senate will let possible murder allowed by all be the law of the land. VERY SAD!
