No More Moore

Now that Roy Moore and his type are not being voted into government anymore we need to push for an Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution that would protect the rights of women from sexual assault to equal pay for equal work. We all should be adopting the we can’t spell aMErica without ME idea that Alec Baldwin talks about in his new book. Doug Jones beat old Roy Moore by 20,000 votes to become Alabama’s next Senator and more importantly he won because he had a moderate approach to equality in America.

He is most known for his work as a former prosecutor who went after the KKK and won important cases that said that America will not take the injustice and inequality that the KKK represents anymore. That is a major achievement in a state that is mostly Republican and whose people still wave the confederate flag proudly as an important part of their history. Even those people said that enough is enough and didn’t want an alleged pedophile in our politics. There have been a wave of powerful men in every industry from entertainment, Mario Batali, the famous chef just walked away from his fame because of his exposed sexual abuse of women to politics with Senator Al Franklin walking away too for his abuse of women. Some piggish men leave quietly and immediately and others like Bill Cosby fight in court or pay off women for their silence like Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly did. But they are still there and without a real law like an Amendment to the Constitution addressing discriminatory practices in this country the fight will continue. Roy Moore want’s a recount of the votes.

Doug Jones’s win is a step in the direction that democrats can win in all those republican states all over the mid-west and the south that voted for and allowed Disastrous Donald to be our President now. Roy Moore represented the uniquely awful candidate that most of America has decided we don’t need anymore. Trump has the lowest rating   in America now and in most of the world with him being the only world leader to pull out of the Climate Conferences, creating war in the Middle East with his declaration that Israel owns holy lands that multiple religions hold dear to their hearts and him discounting his sexual discrimination when 16 women come forward and he is saying on tape that because of his power he can just grab women by the pussy. It is time for his outrageousness to be stopped too.

I found myself humming the old Amy Winehouse song No More to changing the words of No More Moore over again. John Merrill the Alabama Secretary of State WRONGLY said that “any candidate can ask for a recount and if they pay for it, they can receive a recount.”  Roy Moore requested and has still not conceded in the race. The idiot Secretary of State in Alabama needs to do his homework and READ the Alabama Election Handbook. Yeah, in the board game of politics, sometimes you jerks need to read the rules in the middle of the game too.  Yes, requesting a recount if you want to pay for it is allowed if you are running foe a STATE OFFICE IN ALABAMA. RUNNING FOR THE FEDERAL POSITION OF STATE SENATOR DOES NOT ALLOW CANDIDATES TO REQUEST SUCH A RECOUNT OR TO CONTEST THE ELECTION.

Roy Moore take your toy story costume and your little gun and ride your horse into the sunset and just go away. Guys like you just don’t represent America anymore with your bias and ignorance.
