More Bad Contracts

Trump needs to clean house and he is not up to the standards that this country deserves. Americans are great and have a big heart and would step up to the plate to help anyone especially in a disaster. We have been through it many times unfortunately from floods, hurricanes, shootings and protests. What has he done to help this country? He has a big mouth but not a big heart. He is also wasting tax payer money daily from his extensive security detail having to follow him and his extended family everywhere to a tax plan that will increase the deficit by a trillion dollars to not even distributing the emergency funds to Puerto Rico in an efficient and cost productive manner.

Poor Puerto Rico has recently been hit by severe rainstorms pouring down on their destroyed homes. It is still so severe there from poor drinking water to no electricity to now not even being able to get tarps to put on their broken roofs to stop the rain from pouring on them in their darken broken homes. Trump allows another big contract to be awarded to a newly created Florida company with an unproven record. Like the contract that was awarded to the electric company with two employees, this company was formed by just two brothers in August. Trump is supposed to be the hero of building things everywhere. Why can’t he build Puerto Rico back? Yup, he can’t profit from it so no deal.

 The company called Bronze Star had never before won a government contract or delivered tarps or plastic sheeting yet it won more than $30 million dollars in contracts from FEMA to provide emergency tarps and plastic sheeting for repairs in Puerto Rico. The address listed for this business is a single family home in a residential subdivision in Saint Cloud, Florida. WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE FOLKS?

Guess what!!! It is no surprise that the company, Bronze Star LLC NEVER DELIVERED THOSE URGENTLY NEEDED SUPPLIES.

It has taken FEMA four weeks to even notice the non- deliveries yet these brothers in this house has $30 million dollars of tax payer dollars under Trump’s watch. He is too busy tweeting about other powerful pigs and their unwanted sexual harassment allegations. When is sexual harassment ever wanted anyway?

The response by Trump in this national disaster has been an embarrassment to the world.  His great photo opportunity in his short visit to the island was to throw paper towels to elected officials literally. It has been 11 weeks since the disaster and progress is slow. Thousands in Puerto Rico still remain homeless and over 40% of the residents are without electricity. Those who do have electricity have poor service since there have been frequent blackouts. Are at risk and homes can’t even boil water without power.

FEMA needs to be reformed since they will give money if you will build a home the way it was. NO!!! Things need to be built better with more efficient and weather sustainable homes. Solar and wind power should be implemented. Trump just offers contracts to idiots that do nothing. Reconstruction should not be the word. Transformation should be the policy.

Why is he allowing a 20% per cent tax to be placed on products manufactured in Puerto Rico? No one else has to pay an increased tax on manufacturing in their place. Trump needs to help the economy of Puerto Rico and not tax the people for working and making products we could all use. That is devastating to the economy of Puerto Rico. The Trump administration has NO credibility in terms of the Puerto Rican economy. Puerto Rico needs tools for their economic development, power and at least tarps to shield their broken homes. Impeach Trump. America can do better without him and his corrupt companies. Now Puerto Rico has started foundations to get money to make their own repairs because Trump has failed them and has awarder badly needed money to a small electric company and to an even smaller emergency supply company. Puerto Rico remains with nothing much.
