Our Russian Invasiion

Why isn’t there terrorism in Russia? Why aren’t there any refugees in Russia? Why is Trump and his buddies all caught up with Russians? America voted for Trump because he reminded us a bit of Regan. Both were entertainers and both had a presence of strength. We all tuned into the debates because Trump made it entertaining. It was more like a roast every time he spoke than a serious debate about American important issues. Now most Americans worry that Trump is in bed with the Russians and have abandoned us. There have been more turnover jobs in our government than ever. This week will be filled with investigations on Trump’s closest people in government. Mostly family members he gave the top security clearances to. How did the smooth breakdown of our government fall into a pile of trash wrapped in Russian paper?

If Trump does get impeached we will be left with Mike Pence as President. He always says in his speeches, “I’m a Christian, conservative and a Republican in that order.” In Congress he was a leader in efforts to defund Planned Parenthood, he opposed the end of “don’t ask, don’t tell” in the military, he was “an outspoken champion of a federal constitutional amendment defining marriage as the union of a man and a woman.” Currently gay men in Russia are being beaten and taken to prison for being gay. What if Trump’s impeachment will take down Pence as well? Then we will have Paul Ryan as President. He is the guy who pushed forward the failed Republican health care plan. If Ryan is also impeached then we will have President Orin Hatch. He is 83 years old and said,” Capital punishment is our societies recognition of the sanctity of human life.” He wants to beat people up? It all seems like a terrible nightmare that we never get to wake up from.

Impeachment is a long way off even if they wanted to do it. It would require the majority vote in the House of Representatives, then it would need 2/3 of the votes in the Senate to convict the President. Both are controlled by Republicans. Trump publicaly insulted the 4 Republicans who voted his health care plan down. Should our lawmakers be bullied? Trump gets away with everything offensive. Now he wants to give the Russians property here in America that Obama took away from them for their interference with the election. What will we be getting back from the Russians if Trump gives them those properties again? Nothing. This would make Trump the worst deal maker and not the expert on the art of the deal as he touts in his book.

Russia is independent of the European Union in that he is doing nothing to help the refugees. Putin is funding the Syrian Dictator with weapons to kill his own people. Terrorists don’t bomb Russia because Putin is one of them. He has terrorized the Ukraine and has Poland under mind control. His next conquest is America and Trump is Putin’s  man to pull off his invasion of our government. Are we going to let him succeed here too?
