Really! Bat Soup? Once upon a time in 2014 there actually was a Congressional Committee formed called The Blue Ribbon Bio Defense Panel. The reason was a bipartisan commission of Republicans and Democrats in Congress to analyze The United States capabilities and capacity to defend against biological threats. They actually were trying to get us ready for the next threat of germ attacks. So with all this analysis you would think that we wouldn’t be having thousands of Americans dying right now from breathing. UGH!


Between 2001 and 2014, the U.S. spent around $80 billion on biodefense [7]Beginning in fall 2014, the Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense conducted meetings, interviews, and research. It studied the 2001 anthrax attacks and biodefense programs undertaken during the Clinton, Bush, and Obama Administrations.]


In October 2015, the Commission released its recommendations to publicly and submitted them to Congress in the form of a report, A National Blueprint for Biodefense: Leadership and Major Reform Needed to Optimize Efforts. They concluded that the United States was not prepared to respond to a large scale biological event - naturally occurring, accidentally released, or intentionally introduced. As for the cause of the problem, the report said, "Simply put, the nation does not afford the biological threat the same level of attention as it does other threats." SO OUR GOVERNMENT KNEW THEN THAT WE ALL WERE IN SERIOUS DANGER


Most likely this deadly Corona Virus was not from the rumored bat soup claim but from a laboratory in China. In the Soviet Union in the 70’s they made a germ weapon called Anthrax. The Soviets lied and said it was from tainted meat. Only till 1990 did they admit it was a germ weapon accidentally released and killed 15,000 people. Remember that the Soviet Union does not have any free press. China censors its press and jails citizens who report on happenings without their strict approvals. It is obvious that Corona Virus came from China and the government there does not allow free reporting even on their own disasters.


We have Trump who makes the problem even worse. He wants to suppress the press from reporting the disaster. He called it a Democrat hoax, he played golf 120 times since knowing this deadly virus was entering our shores, and now he said that he won’t even wear a mask. Americans are dying at an alarming rate. It didn’t have to happen. We should have been more prepared. We should have had a reasonable educated leader. We don’t have any of that anymore. Sorry but true.
