Today is Palm Sunday

Today is Palm Sunday, the day Jesus rode through the town riding a donkey as followers threw palm branches along his path in respect for their humble king. Jesus could have rode on a stallion in gold robes like the government officials did in those time but he chose to be the king of the humble people. There is nothing humble about our present administration or the majority governing powers that are in office, yet most of them consider themselves good Christian people. I’m not sure what lessons they are learning when they read their Bibles. They certainly do not practice what they preach.


Religious laws are gaining ground in the governing of regions around the world. We, in America believe in freedom of religion. You can worship whatever God you wish. This is the holiest week for Catholics who celebrate Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead on Easter Sunday. The Catholic Religion has the Pope in The Vatican as their spiritual Leader and they abide by their rules and laws found in the Ten Commandments. This is the week where Jewish people celebrate a special meal over Passover. Most religions are from the basis of peace, hope, spirituality and kindness.


We need to revert back to Greek Mythology where we had the God of the sea Poseidon and the Gods and goddess of the earth and sky and worship the planet and save each other and our planet. Pray for that don’t prey on each other!


Right now we need all the Gods we worship to descend on earth to save our planet ravaged by this incurable infectious deadly virus. We are hiding in our homes unable to go to Palm Sunday Mass today, receive our palms or communion. Even the Pope is hiding from the deadly virus in his home.


Trump is our leader who when he declared a National Emergency became the one to take care of Americans and be the oversee person to coordinate all disaster relief assistance. But he hasn’t. And thousands are already dead. He still has NOT declared a national stay-at-home order, no widespread access too tests and NO national procurement policies for getting and distributing supplies. No real use of the Defense Production Act to instruct folks to do what they must do to save lives. People praise Jesus on Palm Sunday to thank him for always feeding the poor, healing the sick and encouraging peace and love.


Trump has told states to get their own help. So we have 50 states trying to get their own equipment from China. Then the Federal Govt. with FEMA is also trying to purchase the same supplies. Jesus would have never told the sick to heal themselves.
