If Trump had a brain cell in his head and wants folks to go back to work he should order it reasonably and with precautions. We are all united in that no one wants American’s health and wealth be destroyed but we need only the healthy who have immunity to the virus to return to work.  Yes we have swabbing of our mouths and noses to test if we DO have the infection of the Corona Virus but there is no funding for blood tests to see if we have recovered and are now immune to the virus.

Doctors know all about the Serology Antibody Test.  It is a simple blood test that looks for evidence of past infection. It is so important because it is very likely that now many of us have been infected with the Covid-19 Virus without even realizing it, or had mild symptoms and recovered. The blood test will definitively tell us our status and more importantly if we already had the Covid-19 Virus and recovered, we have developed an immunity to the virus. THAT IS important good news.

We are protected from further infection for at least a few years if this virus is acting like other viruses have occurred   in the past. Trump’s dopy idea of simply ordering us all to go to Church and work in a week is reckless and as usual unplanned like all his impulsive decisions are. There is no reason we can’t get this virus under control and at the same time get the economy moving again. However, this inept President can’t even give our nation the supplies we need, that we have in reserve, to protect ourselves and our valued health professionals. He would rather argue with State Governors and tell them to fend for themselves in a bidding war.

The Serology Antibody Blood Test is similar to the same tests doctors perform all the time to detect Measles, Mumps and Rubella. Trump’s moronic idea to suggest Americans take pills for Malaria is untested, irresponsible and is a unproven suggestion that has killed Americans faster than the deadly virus. Please can we get intelligent life back into the White House?
