Vaccinate

Image result for measles vaccinationParents think they are doing the best for their child when they decide not to vaccinate them but we all know it is bad and wrong especially since diseases we used to have under control are now reappearing without the vaccines. At least there are important places that are fighting misinformation. Tech companies are fighting anti-vaccine information. Amazon prime pulled at least five films from its popular video streaming service. Facebook said, "We will reduce the ranking of groups and pages that spread misinformation about vaccinations." Google said,"we'll begin reducing recommendations of borderline content or videos that could misinform users in harmful ways."  Pinterest said, "We stopped serving certain searches related to vaccinations."
Yet the percentage of un-vaccinated children has quadrupled since 2001. Vaccines do not cause autism. Don't treat autistic people like their existence is worse than a pandemic. The CDC has confirmed 387 cases across 15 states of measles.  There are now six outbreaks, defined as three or more cases, across four states: New York, Washington, New Jersey and California , according to the CDC. In 2000, the United States declared that measles had been eliminated. Now it is the leading cause of child death across the world. 90% to 95% of people must be vaccinated in order to achieve what is called herd immunity.
Even with measles outbreaks across the US, at least 20 states have proposed anti-vaccination bills. There are 480 anti-vaccine websites. These folks will not accept facts.  Please listen to the scientists, doctors the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control and stop disease from spreading again. VACCINATE!
