Our Gay President

This weekend there are gay pride celebrations everywhere like no other time in history where the rainbow flag is being hoisted on flagpoles on government buildings too. Gay pride is certainly out of the closet meanwhile it was always there but never promoted as it is lately. This year we even have a openly gay guy running for President and a lot of people love his policies and could care less about his gayness as many could care less about Trump's sex life either. We are really in a sexual revolution politically. 

Will America vote for a gay President? Well if you crack open the history books , we already had a gay President. Folks knew it but didn't exploit it. So lets for a moment this weekend remember our gay political history in American Presidents. James Buchanan was our 15th President of America from 1857-1861. At that time he was promoted as being a confirmed bachelor for his entire life. Before he became President he openly lived with William Rufus King for 16 years till he died. Andrew Jackson referred to James as Miss. Nancy.

So this weekend enjoy the pride of all our gay friends and wish them well.
