Looking at this election we saw the progressive incumbent in swing districts overwhelmingly won re-election. Every incumbent that supported Medicare for all kept their seat in a swing district. The progressive ideas or socialist ideas won convincing victories across the country including in purple and red states. Voters in Florida passed a $15 dollar minimum wage. Four states legalized marijuana. Polls taken suggests that a majority of Americans support a higher minimum wage, paid maternity leave, funding for childcare, tuition free college. America has spoken and does not support Trump's right wing agenda.
Biden submitted a list of his appointments to his cabinet and White House team. It is refreshing that there is NOT a relative among them. No daughter or son-in-law taking tax paid salaries like Trump did. There is not a white supremist among them. He has a diverse professional assortment of color. Black, a Dominican woman, the grand daughter of Cesar Chavez, no one under investigation, no one who has ties to Russia or the Ukraine.
We must always remember that a Democratic Socialist is one who wishes the betterment of life for all with programs that we can all benefit from. We already have government paying for with our tax dollars GPS, roads, bridges police departments and fire departments. America is ready to have more services given to us now. Trump had Cuban Americans in fear of socialism leading them to believe that a Democrat President would be a Marxist Socialist like the evil dictators they fled with their military states in Cuba and Venezuela. Biden said he would only raise taxes on those who make more than $400,000 per year in order to pay for more democratic socialist programs that America just voted for.
