The Brutal Police

Minn. officer in George Floyd death had 19 prior complaints - New ...Stop burning down your city losing businesses you need in your community. The fight for justice lies in our judicial system. Education and not violence is the way to insure change. Looting and unlawful fires of your community is not the answer. More empathetic police, more black men lawyers, more civil obedience is the answer with black men in high positions in the police union is the answer and immediately charge any man black or white with murder when they murder anyone.
The true story of Serpico proved that there are good cops and there are bad cops. Using excessive force when arresting black guys to the point that they die is not the answer. It is murder even when done by a cop. You shouldn’t have to die from the knee to the throat from a cop because you tried to buy something with an unknowingly or even knowingly counterfeit bill even shopping while being black.
This time excessive deadly force by police was captured on tape again for all of us to see and wonder why. The outrage of the officers being fired and not charged with the obvious crime of murder or at least manslaughter caused violent protests for days in Minneapolis over George Floyd’s death. The optics of black people burning down their community and looting the stores is just doing two wrongs that doesn’t make anything right.
Those police officers will definitely face charges. There is a civil rights case initiated and the FBI will get involved too. They will explore if those police officers willfully denied Floyd’s rights and privileges under the Constitution. His privileges are the right to breathe and the right to exist. Floyd was no threat to those cops. He was a suspect in a forgery case and was not a violent criminal. The arrest physicality ends once the suspect is cuffed and brought into custody. The safety and health of Floyd was in the hands of the police and they failed to do that beyond repair. They killed him.
We want and demand swift justice in this country. We need to be confident that the system will work. A Grand Jury will probably get involved and the State or Feds will indict these murdering officers and justice will be served without more discord, protests or deaths. Due process takes time and now that this guy’s life is over all we have is time.
