Dictator Donald

Dictator Donald is a Danger to this country and Americans know it and they won’t have it. He needs to realize that Americans are a people that come here from all over the world seeking freedom and peace and most are fleeing the wrath of evil Dictators wherever they came from. We don’t need one here. The easiest way to realize Donald’s Dictator ways is to compare his antics to the antics of Dictators who are ruining their own countries for no other reason than personal power and wealth. Donald likes both of these things.

In 1979 a rebel army took over a Dictator in Nicaragua and the leader was Daniel Ortega who declared himself President. In 2017 Trump lied and cheated his way into his Presidency. Both Presidents swore that they would make their country great again. Now there are protests in both places daily against these two Presidents. In 2014 Ortega changed the Constitution to do away with term limits. Trump wants to do that too. He thinks it is great that the President of China just changed the law there so that he can be the Dictator President for life. But Americans would never want that. Our fathers of the Constitution wrote 2 term limits so that no one could change this country for their own purposes for long.

On April 18, 2017 Ortega announced a tax increase and cuts to social security benefits. Trump would like to do that to Americans too but he does this by extreme spending, tax breaks for the very wealthy and billing the tax payers for his increased spending for a border wall, immigration police and an increased military budget. In Ortega’s country his police are killing protestors. Trump encourages his supporters to be violent and encourages division by supporting Nazi groups who are violent.

Over the years Ortega took over the media channels with now only government sanctioned news reporting. Trump invented the term “fake news” and tagged it on to anything that he didn’t like to hear. He has also frequently discredited the free American press daily and would like you to believe only what his White House spokespersons say who in this administration is constantly insulting the free press even in the White House.

Over the years Ortega took over all branches of the government. Trump demands loyalty from our FBI, CIA and Justice Department or he abuses his power with firing people who have defended this country for decades without a reason or a personal notification. He Tweets. He has not fully staffed important branches of our government.

Ortega granted his wife the job of Vice-President. Trump gave his daughter and Son-In-law important positions in our government without any qualifying credentials or proper security clearances. Both men Ortega and Trump have given themselves autocratic rule. Their use of self-powerment is astounding.  Students are uprising in protests in Nicaragua over gun control so they can go to school without fear of random gunfire. Most students in both places are in their teens. Students in America have the same concerns and Trump simply offers “thoughts and prayers” instead of enforcing strict gun control laws.

Dictators around the world are either oppressing their people or the people are fleeing their countries becoming refugees all over the world.  Many Americans said they would move to Canada once Trump got elected but most are still in America wearing out their protest shoes over just about every issue. The American people volunteer to defend our democratic beliefs all over the world. Most aren’t about ready to give up their Democracy to a Dictator anytime soon.
