Is it Bigotry or Racism?

Image result for bigotry or racism
While Trump spent yet another expensive tax paid long weekend golfing at his private resort and not at Camp David there were protestors protesting in every single state in America over just about everything he has commented on and touched. Race relations is a topic that seems to continue to divide this nation. We seem to live in a nation suffering from amnesia with people not remembering all the fights that have gone on over discrimination. It doesn’t help that we have our leader who excretes the feces from his moral depravity into a nation that he has turned into a psychic commode. Yes, Trump tweets every morning the crap from his sick brain into the toilet that he chooses America to be. He is the bigot in chief and the racist in residence.
He has the inability to acknowledge the fact that there are differences between people who argue against racism and people who are for it. The difference between a racist and a bigot is that a bigot is a person who makes a personal opinion of dislikes like not liking short people or not liking the color red. A bigot is a person who has prejudices against anyone who dares to have a different opinion from their own. Racism presumes that you have the right to make someone else vulnerable simply because they look different from you or have a different background.  To boss them around or enslave them or a systematic power to control someone because of a reason other than who they are.
Our country is divided. When slaves were brought to America some called it empowerment others called it genocide. Some people call celebrating the Confederate flag celebrating our heritage. Other’s call it celebrating hate. We live in a country that is addicted to the inability to remember important times in our history. People are willing to celebrate reenactments of the Civil war but don’t celebrate key points of freedom fought and practiced. Freedom of religion, abortion rights, end of internment camps and the power of voting for all.
Twitter, Instagram and Facebook has messed people up allowing instant thoughts to be spread everywhere without a filter or any editor to make sure that a fact is a fact. Then we have the idolized rich and famous like Kanye who said that slavery was a choice. He is proud to say that he doesn’t have much education but he manages to be a driving influence in society meanwhile he spews fake news like Trump who has NO education of the Constitution or the laws of this land who also spews daily ignorant statements without looking into history.
They are an insult to all our brave soldiers who died and fought for the “American Way” of life. Both of these men have enough money and people to give them the truths of every topic they refuse to learn. Trump is a restlessly lying bigot who is ill informed and a danger to our democracy because of his need for greed and power just like all evil Dictators.
