Birth control pills are used to
prevent serious conditions like Endometriosis, Fibroids and Polycystic Ovary
Syndrome and Dysmenorrhea. They should be offered on insurance policies. As
well for the women who don’t want any evidence of that creepy guy in their
bodies anymore. For many of these conditions birth control pills are the only
non-surgical option they may have. Endometriosis is painful and can feel like a
chain saw is going through you with non- stop pain in your back or legs. Untreated
it can cause infertility and chronic fatigue. The New York Times on March 31, 2016
reported
that “women with endometriosis were 52% per cent more likely to have had a
heart attack. Again, why is a hard penis medication covered by insurance and
not birth control pills that can keep a woman alive?
You would think that a disease
that could actually stop your heart be at least understood. Most people don’t
even have a clue as to what endometriosis even is. Patricia Gunter, MD a
menopause specialist with the Austin Diagnostic Clinic on March 4, 2017 said
that, “It is a disease condition where the cells that are normally inside the
uterus are outside the uterus.” One in ten women suffer from endometriosis and
the condition can be treated with birth control pills.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
symptoms are weight gain, hair growth, fertility problems and diabetes. These
are incredibly common and are poorly understood. You would think there were
tons of research in finding a cure for these problems. But no, there are many
penis hardening products out there but not much research into women’s health
problems. Do you think scientists would want to grow a uterus on a man anytime
soon? Nah, men couldn’t deal with the discomfort of a period menstrual cycle
every month. All I want to do is to have a man give birth to just one child and
with all the discomfort involved in that process, our population explosion
would be over and men would be handing out the pill like candy on Halloween.
Ten percent of women have
Endometriosis and it receives $10 million dollars in funding per year. Compare that with 10% percent of people who
have Diabetes and it receives $1 Billion dollars of funding per year. Do ya
think Diabetes gets more funding because men suffer from that too? The
medications that have been funded to help men have sex better are Cialis, Kamagra,
Staxyn, Caverject, Zudena, Tadalis,
Spedra, Viagra, Levitra, Caverta and Stendra and are all covered by insurance
but birth control pills are a big political debate.
Why aren’t there more solutions
for these painful and fairly common diseases? Is it because it is only found in
women? Women are half the population and they deserve better care. There is NO
cure for Endometriosis but we have 10 different brands of boner medication for
a flaccid penis. Politics and science needs to pay attention to women’s needs
NOW!
