America's Great Divide

Will the great divide ever change in America? It seems that no matter what stupid things Trump and his Republican folks say, his supporters just dig their heels in deeper and will not change their opinion of him.  Why such the blind faith? Trump is in China but clearly this must be the year of the dog with now another dirty old man doing sick things with teenagers. The allegation is that Roy Moore was having relations with a 14 year old child. This is the hypocrite who put the Ten Commandments on his court house steps. Yet he still has supporters and wants to continue to run for political office. No one cares especially he has a platform declaring religion and decency. Top Republicans are speaking out. Against the women!!! Thank goodness he isn’t related to Michael Moore.

Sean Hannity said it was consenual. Alabama Republican State Representative Ed Henry said that they should prosecute the women. They are even fundraising with this issue. Alabama State Auditor Jim Ziegler said, “Take Joseph and Mary who was a teenager…” Are they bringing Jesus into a crime of child molestation? Is being a teenager the age of Republican consent? Mary had that miracle of being a virgin by getting pregnant by God not the human Joseph. Should we go further and say too bad Mary didn’t have the option to get an abortion to prevent teenage pregnancies? The Catholic Church is going bankrupt because it has to pay settlements for  all their pedophile Priests.

At least liberals arrest and ruin their   careers as in Weinstein and Spacey and now Louis C.K. too. Republicans elect their molesters   to good government jobs. Trump is the molester in the White House. Why is the average poor Republican supporter voting with those Republican rich guys in our government? They just passed that banking Bill that states that people can’t get together in class action suits to sue banks? No Democrat voted for it. Republican people want the banks to get away with money-laundering and fleecing their customers? Why such a divide? Why are there people saying, sure let the government take away our rights?

Donald Trump won the election by less than 100,000 votes. Our country seems to be equally divided. The only thing we can agree on is when our parents told you that anyone can become President. Well, Trump is that anyone person with no qualifications or experience representing our country and became President. Does truth exist anymore? Politicians lie and Facebook posts fake advertising for profit. We don’t even know what is the real news? Why does the average poor slob Republican still support Trump when he presents a tax Bill that clearly only benefits him? All the tax breaks are for people who have huge amounts of money. You have to have $22 million dollars to benefit from the tax break in estate taxes you want to leave for your kids. Who has that kind of money? Trump.

American’s love their deductions on their taxes like the coupons that get deducted off your supermarket bill. Why do the Republicans love Trump? His tax bill is going to take away state and city income taxes. Student loan interest will be taken away as a deduction along with a deduction for losses from disasters and we all know that this year was full of disasters from forest fires to hurricanes all across the country. Moving expenses, alimony, out of pocket medical bills, even school supplies won’t be deducted anymore under Trump’s Tax Plan. School supplies too? So when the teacher has to buy pencils because the kid shows up to school without one because their pencil got burned in the fire that took his home or from the flood that washed the pencil down the drain, the teacher has to pay for that too?  Republicans like that financial burden?

Trump will not give teachers a school supply deduction but his plans calls for kids going to   Prep.  Schools can have ALL their tuition written as a tax deduction. ONLY RICH PEOPLE SEND THEIR KIDS TO PREP. SCHOOLS.  The average poor slob Republican will still support Trump? Some Republican supporters don’t even send their kids to any schools since their teenage daughters are already barefoot and pregnant. They are toothless because they don’t need no medical care. They don’t go to doctors or dentists anyway.

Now that we have mass shootings on our own soil killing innocent Americans everywhere and the Trump supporter still won’t demand any kind of gun control, there is no way that they will be swayed not to vote for him while they bury their dead. They will just buy more guns. The great divide seems to be along education lines. Trump is the hero of the stupid and hires unqualified buddies to every post in government. Only educated people seem to be able to see the big picture here and connect the dots to the downgrading of this country.

Corporate America is concerned about America until it is about their profits. Executives take all the money and hide the rest overseas while poor citizens who work for their companies still don’t get healthcare, pensions, full time hours or unions. Republican supporters don’t need to protest that? After a year of Trump, there are people who are not swayed by polls or facts yet we all claim to love this country. Obama was all about hope for a better future. Trump is about being powerful and tapping   into our fears and rage and wants us all to hide behind him instead of uniting each other. All dictators want to divide and conquer. America is divided. Will we let him conquer?

Republicans all hated Obama but they hate their health insurance too? They got the health insurance from the guy they hate! Americans have become branded. If anyone no matter what they do that should be outrageous, if an electable person   has   a   D or an R in front of their name, nothing matters. Americans have become party line voters and listen to nothing else. Americans need to have faith in each other and not in their guns or their Bibles. We know what is right from wrong and we need to put party lines a side and have faith in humanity and the preservation of our lives.
