Unraveling the United Nations

Somebody tell Trump they call it The United Nations because it is a place where nations should be united about something not a place to say “America First!” Then the psychopath threatens “total destruction “ to North Korea.  The United Nations is a place to work out peaceful resolutions to world problems not a place to plan total extinction of a country Donny! Our President says such memorable thoughtful Presidential quotes. NOT!!!! He is a train wreck cartoon character who calls everyone some infantile name. “Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself.” He treats everyone like they are characters in his very own cartoon. Instead of planning to eradicate a country he should have taken the opportunity to call out China and Russia who gives the supplies, money and expertise to build nuclear weapons.

The United Nations Assembly meetings is NOT a place where nations get threatened or where people resort to name calling. That is what bullies do on playgrounds. So, as usual, Trump is an embarrassment to all Americans. He was a horror to all at the assembly who immediately responded with loud gasps after hearing his statement about eradicating a country off the map. Trump was very critical of the deal made with Iran but conveniently didn’t say anything about Russian intrusion in the Ukraine or Moscow’s 2016 election interference. That bed he shares with Putin must be very comfortable.

“I will always put America first” really? His supporters are still looking desperately for the jobs he promised them. “Just like you as the leaders of your country should always put your country first.”  Well Donald if we don’t share our toys how can we play a game? The United Nations is a place where countries can pool together to help solve things to MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE not just your own backyard. Duh!! That is why it is called the UNITED nations!!! I want to stomp on his head with my dirty worn out protest shoes!

Nicholas Burns the former U.S. Ambassador to NATO said, “He is the first American President since the 1920’s to say to the rest of the world you are on your own!” Most of the delegates called Trump’s speech an ignorant hate speech. Now America has lost the trust and allegiance of other countries we need to work with to make the world a better place. The United Nations speech is the place to take your foreign policies directly to all countries. It is a place to try to UNITE countries for a better cause. NOT a place to declare isolationism and hate. We are so far from any diplomacy and either one of these crazy leaders could offer mass destruction on humanity.

Right now some of our best war planes are stationed in South Korea ready to destroy. The range of North Korean ballistic missiles have multiplied in recent years largely because of the support and funding by Russia and China. North Korea exports knit clothing for men and women and coal for your barbeques. That does not generate enough money to afford state of the art nuclear rockets. Doesn’t Trump know that if you take the bullets away from a gun it is powerless? He needs to work on taking the supply chain away from North Korea and not working on daring the insecure kid that is the leader there.

The young leader of the Kim dynasty is the youngest son of leaders that were in charge of North Korea for generations. Kim Jong-Un is only 34 years old. No one has attacked North Korea in recent years yet this young leader has accumulated more weapons than his father and grandfather did combined. He has conducted more missile tests than any other leader there in the past 6 years. His grandfather Kim Il-Sung conducted 15 tests. His father Kim Jong-Il 16 tests. This kid 85 missile tests. North Korea is not valuable for anything but their location. It is the bridge between Democratic ideals and Communism. North Korea borders China and South Korea. China has already won the battle by having North Korea as their puppet.

The border between China and North Korea is 880 miles. The difference in wealth is alarming. China has everything while North Korea has little electricity and the farmers still farm with oxen by hand. The focus needs to be on unity and pool funds so that as a United world we can stop all the terrors of life and not escalate silly wars over nothing. Trump threatened the United Nations Assembly saying they should contribute more money to the UN. He doesn’t even realize that because we pay more we also have military bases stationed in every country and those locations are key to the safety of this country.
