What's Popular

Are you a popular person? Do people like what you like? Do you even know what people are enjoying these days? Well the lists are out for what everyone preferred last year. Did you do what was popular last year? Did you read what everyone else was reading? Did you sing along or buy the most popular songs last year? Did you see the most watched Youtube  video last year? It was Carpool Karaoke with Adele.   Did you Google what everyone else was interested in finding more about? Do you know who was the most followed person on Instagram? It was Selena Gomez with 105,000,000 followers. Why?   Did you bother to leave your man- cave to actually go to a movie theater? A lot of people did and spent millions of dollars on single movies. If you didn’t get to go out much did you at least watch the most popular television programs last year? It was a sports dominated year. So if you didn’t watch the big sports events what were your favorite prime time shows on television? Do you like what most people watched? “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view. To climb into his skin and walk around in it.” That was a quote that Atticus Finch said in the classic book To Kill A Mockingbird by author Harper Lee. She died in 2016 too. It was her first novel and it won the Pulitzer Prize in 1960. The film starring Gregory Peck is still a popular film to this day.
