Trump has ordered hospitals to bypass the Center for Disease Control with key virus data, alarming the very same health experts whose job is to analyze the date in order to determine the progress of disease. Why is it so important for only this administration to have the information on death and disease? What does Trump want to do with it? Can he possibly use it for political reasons?
The Center for Disease Control should not be politicized. It makes no sense to send the information directly to Washington and not to the CDC from hospitals. The CDC needs to see that information. They need to see what is happening in states. If they are getting data on how many people are hospitalized, how many people are in the ICU, the CDC needs to see how that corelates to actions that states have taken in response to the numbers high or low.
Who is being effected? Are the numbers being corelated by race, age or other severe conditions? Being able to make this information public is important that every county and state knows which way they are trending in health. The only thing Washington can do with this information solely is to allow it to be influenced by politics.
The CDC knows how viruses are spread. Not Trump. The CDC guidelines have been proven to be good advice. Not Trump's advice. Scientific inquiries is important and it is important that the public has that shared information.
