Trump's Battered wife, America

Since Trump seems to avoid all justified prosecution in government, America is now like that battered woman abused daily by her husband. After you are slapped enough, it doesn’t hurt as much. It becomes the norm. We are losing the norms in our government daily because of the abuses of Trump. He learned well from Putin who rose in power in 2003. Then there in Russia and now here in America Putin and now Trump has surrounded himself in govt. with nothing as a requirement but support for him. Even with Barr the head of our once independent Justice Dept. to even his handpicked majority on the once independent Supreme Court to even firing and hiring hundreds of Federal Judges who would faithfully rule in his favor on any issue.

Trump is an authoritarian like Putin. Since Trump’s Senate Impeachment acquittal he is boldly being more abusive to his wife, America, and we are so used to it, we are just hurting and trying to heal our wounds without any outrage left in us any longer. Since Trump has been acquitted he has attacked Supreme Court Justices he didn’t hire. Attacked a Federal Judge he didn’t hire in the Roger Stone longtime friend of his criminal case. Attacked the women of the Jury. Attacked the Prosecutor who recommended the low sentence. He fired his own acting Director of Intelligence because of a warning briefing about Russia to Congress and replaced him with yet another unqualified guy who was disqualified by Republicans for lying on his resume. Trump’s only qualification for any job in his America is complete devotion to him and only him.

Trump just doesn’t want Americans to know information. He hired unqualified Pence to lead the American virus task force and he immediately told all qualified scientific professionals NOT to talk to the press even on our national health crisis. Trump in his obvious ignorance told pharma to issue more flu shots to combat the virus. That is medically impossible since a flu is NOT a virus. Can battered America also survive the miss-information from Trump on the now deadly incurable virus on our shores now? We must learn from the mistakes that Putin has done to the discriminated Russian people. We must learn from the hypnotized Germans where Hitler convinced a nation that it was a good idea to throw live bodies into ovens. Yes as Biden says, we must restore the soul of America and stop slipping into Trump’s battered wife authoritarian America and restore Democracy and the American way to our country.
