If you want to know something you Google it. If you want to see something you go to YouTube and see the video but is it all that accurate? How did these sources even emerge to be our source of information now? Well if you are a Mom of 5 kids and you rent your garage out to 2 guys students, you can become the head of YouTube and those guys can be the heads of Google because that is exactly what happened. She rented her garage to Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

Now folks spend a billion hours watching videos on YouTube to learn about just anything and everything every day. More people search there than any other place except Google and Google owns YouTube. Most Trumpsters will post their views from conspiracy theories, white supremacists and just opinionated well produced videos as their source for information that is explosive and mostly false information and YouTube profits from every outrageous claim in a video. Recently YouTube agreed to pay a $170 million dollar settlement amid allegations that they targeted children with advertisements. YouTube needs to be monitored and cleansed of fake and false videos.

Susan Wojcicki is the 51 year old Mom now the CEO of YouTube. Every minute there are 500 hours of video uploaded to YouTube. Over a billion folks watch and listen to music videos every month on YouTube making it the largest music site in the world. The children's channel has over 44 billion views. Parents love it because they don't have to lug around a bag of toys to keep their kids engaged in public. Just give the kid your phone and let them watch some videos and it works. Kids are hypnotized by the adventures on even the smallest screens. 

Google and YouTube has become our global library now. Adults turn to the sites for their source of news, medical information, cooking recipes and more. Even to learn how to tie a men's tie. It is there. Susan went shopping and told those boys she housed in her garage once to buy YouTube for $1.65 billion and it turned out to be the best investment for them all. She made it grow and be profitable that now it is worth $169 billion dollars. YouTube makes its money from advertisements on any video. So lies in a video can and will be allowed to be shown on YouTube and make a profit for them both.

The fake drunk slowed down video of Nancy Pelosi called drunk is still there and the named whistleblower in Trump's Impeachment is still there. At least Facebook will eventually take stuff down. In 2016 YouTube allowed fake Russian ads. to be posted to influence the election. The live stream of the Mass Shooter killing folks in the New Zealand massacre was posted and viewed millions of times. How can they police the site while keeping it an open platform? How is responsibility with morals , ethics and integrity balanced with freedom of speech? 

So YouTube can't be held liable for any content due to a legal protection called Section 230. The law does not hole the site responsible for user generated content. So YouTube can even recommend other videos in the same content harmful or not. Is this why we have so many stupid stubborn crazy folks in the world now? YouTube is too big now to even review what is posted most of the time. CHANGE THE DAMN LAW AND MAKE SITES BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HARMFUL FAKE STUPID FALSE THINGS THEY POST ALREADY!
