He killed General Soleimani on January 3, 2020. Is Trump playing games with the safety of the world now? Does Dumb Donald even know that at one time Soleimani was working with the United States Coalition Forces to prevent ISIS from gaining new territory? Americans and Iranians don't want Trump to intervene in their country. It is even more outrageous that this General was a state official. America has a Senate Intelligence Committee that consults on war interventions and they were not consulted either by Trump.
Any responsible intelligent President would have submitted a resolution to Congress outlining why it was necessary to commit murder. In general why it is not good for the world to kill government officials is because it normalizes chaos. It should have been put in front of a War Crimes court that would have determined how bad this bad guy was. The world needs to have a historical record of just what his crimes was. By January 10, 2020 Trump announced more economic sanctions against Iran. A plane with hundreds of civilians has been shot down and now there are food shortages in Iran.
By January 13, 2020 Iranian police was firing live rounds to disperse protesters. Why must ordinary folks suffer? Rockets hit the barracks of United States Troops and now we have a population of troops with head injuries that Trump describes as "just headaches." How do we remove violence in all its forms. We don't get there with targeted strikes that ruin the lives of many innocent people.
If America was part of the Human Rights Council at the United Nations, (Trump pulled out of that too) there could be a special session on Iran and the world could talk how to make things better in Iran for all of us worldwide. We avoided a World War this time but will we be able to avoid a war the next time if we have a unreasonable ignorant President that decides on impulse rather than reason? Just another example as to why Trump must be removed now.
