Women Make It Happen

It is time to elect a woman President because as women still run a household excellently they run important changes in government that benefit us all. Women say put that weapon down it is dangerous. Women are the first choice in household health and nutrition. We have a sick government that is now in badly need of healing just like it took a woman to run the crusade for better working conditions back in 1911 when a factory fire killed 140 women in a deadly fire within 18 minutes. .It was a woman who ran the labor strikes in 1912 even though women weren't even allowed to vote yet. Well, women have had enough now too and are willing to carry the crusade for a fair government.

We are now in a place where Trump is creating dangerous environmental conditions and  not supporting unions in favor of the wealthy corporate owners who don't want to even provide healthcare or social security anymore. In 1912 it was Frances Perkins who had enough of the poor working conditions killing factory women workers. She at 30 years old went to Albany and fought to change working conditions to have fire exits in factories. She fought to rewrite the labor laws. Roosevelt became Governor and then President and he brought Perkins along with him to be the first woman Cabinet Secretary of Labor. 

She was one woman backed up by millions of people who got the job done. We need a woman President to get the job done now. Her efforts brought Social Security, the minimum wage, unemployment insurance, child labor laws, the very existence of the weekend off for many employees and the right to join a Union. Women take care of the family, the folks. This Administration is taking care of only the very wealthy with tax cuts for the rich, taking care of corporate America with not regulating them on safety and greed. It was a woman that brought on the transformation from corporate greed to the care and safety of the workers then and we need that now again.

Then Perkins couldn't be President but the suffrage movement of women demanding the right to vote and run for elected office pushed, fought and gained their rights. Woman can run for President now. It is time to elect one NOW! Women have the patience to fix what is broken. The American ideal is broken now as we are approaching a dictatorship over a democracy.
