Stop and see what is important

America needs to be an agent of change and not of chaos. Being an agent of peace in the world means to stop electing politicians who base our national security on profits from defense contractors. Spreading weapons world wide is not the answer. Spreading world wide peace and prosperity is the answer. Same logic can be used in the medical industry. Stop spreading after the fact not so great solutions to medical issues but spread ways to cultivate health with good nutrition. Sickness is the absence of health. Health is not the absence of sickness. Peace is not the absence of war. War is the absence of peace. 

Our State Department should be called the Peace Department and should be used to negotiate peace and not threats of war. We have a $750 billion  dollar  military budget but we only have a $40 billion dollar State Department that is supposed to be for mediation, diplomacy and development and within that we have peace builders that get less than a billion in the budget. The military can be compared to a surgeon but we all know we like to avoid surgery if at all possible. Then why not support peace makers over killing machines? 

There are 4 factors to building peace Have economic opportunities for all. Expand educational opportunities for children. Reduce violence against women. Stop unnecessary human suffering whenever possible. All factors you want for your immediate family and friends. That philosophy must be expanded worldwide and then there wouldn't be drugs, rapes, violence and injustice in the world. 

When we think of political qualifications we need to look beyond a businessman or even a political person that has been around for years. Our votes should be based on who can provide political vision. Who can never forget our common goal for democracy, love for the world and our planet and most of all peace and prosperity so we all can make our one life on earth the best life for all! Ethics, morals and integrity is learned and not given and is the most valuable traits of all. Strive for it and share the goodness in you.
