Save Us All

The Green New Deal was already voted down by our Republican Senate. It was hope for a better earth in the next 20 years. The idiots on FOX News the Foolish Obnoxious Xenophobes network falsely claimed that it would take away your cows, cars and planes. Not true and the Green New Deal is still very much on peoples minds. The document doesn't even mention cows or planes. 

The document is a non-binding resolution that sets our progressive goals. It states goals to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, meeting 100% of the power demand, have clean renewable and zero-emission energy sources. It would create millions of good high wage jobs in America. 

The entire Green New Deal is just 14 pages long and the President or FOX can't even read it or understand it. The Republican Senate are just Trump's hand puppets.

The proposal was written by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez the Democrat from the 14th District in Bronx and Queens. She clearly stated that it is just a beginning to achieve goals in the right directions. She said clearly to find the problem and find the scope to a solution. 

We could be promoting the building of a better power grid, improving battery storage, developing low carbon jet fuel, electrifying industrial processes, building cities more densely. phasing out air conditioning bad HFC compressors, developing lab grown safe meat, building better nuclear power plants, improving mass transit travel, better upgraded thermostats, go back to rail cargo instead of polluting trucks and all carbon reducing technology. 

We could at lease curb carbon emissions. In 2017 it was reported that 3% was flurinated gasses, 6% was nitrous oxide, 10% was methane but a whopping 82% is  from carbon dioxide. Why is it free to pollute carbon gasses? When I litter I pay a fine. Fine the polluting companies that emit large amounts of carbon dioxide into the air. It is simple logic that when something costs more, people will buy less of it. When we release carbon by burning coal or driving fossil fuel cars, all of us pay for it in the form of combating out of control forest fires, floods and crop failures. 

Putting a fee on carbon dioxide emitters will create incentives to create less carbon. It will also encourage low carbon technology. 

If you want to see an exploding disaster up close and personal put a sleeve of Mentos in a bottle of Cola and see for yourself that overflowing disaster. Do something to save us from more environmental disasters please. More than 40 governments worldwide have now adopted some sort of price on carbon emitters. Trump instead gives tax breaks to polluting companies.  In the United Kingdom carbon emissions in 2017 dropped to low levels last seen in 1890 partly because they have affordable electric cars unlike our very expensive electric Tesla cars. Don't call it a Carbon Tax because people will explode at the sound of any more new taxes. Call it a Carbon Surcharge instead or a Price on Pollution. 

Trump is real quick to demand billions for his stupid wall that Mexico was supposed to build. He could give billions to bankrupting farmers suffering from his tariffs. So, he could put a Pollution Surcharge on polluting companies ruining the environment instead of encouraging them to do whatever the hell they want with tax breaks too.
