Why is there a race to end the many decade old Abortion law? Meanwhile men won't even participate in studies or even take a anti-sperm shot. Real and terrifying laws are being passed to limit Abortions. In Georgia one of the most restrictive anti-abortions laws has passed. It is called the Living Infants Fairness and Equality (LIFE) Act. It passed 92-78. It will out-law most Abortions once a heartbeat is detected in the embryo. That happens about six weeks into a pregnancy. Since that is only two weeks past a missed period most women don't even realize that they are pregnant yet. There is no doubt that this law will hurt women especially since Georgia also ranks as the worst state for maternal mortality in the country.
60% of the deaths in Georgia are preventable if they had better healthcare for women in Georgia. The lawmakers are making it harder for women to receive medical care. The state has a massive shortage of OB/GYNs. Of course Gynecologists don't want to have their practice in Georgia if women's needs are criminalized in Georgia.
The new law also has very weird tax implications since it says"an unborn child at any stage of development shall be included in the state population." So now the definition of an unborn child includes a fertilized egg. So now with this Heartbeat Bill it will allow a woman to collect child-support payments before birth. You can also have a State income tax exemption. So if you don't have compassion for the women at least have compassion for the accountants. Will women have to attach their pregnancy positive test to their tax returns now?
So if a woman miscarries which happens often can the unborn fetus be manslaughter as well as tax fraud? Does a fertility clinic need their own Congressman? The madness is not happening just in Georgia.
There is a big push to overturn Row vs. Wade that has been the law of the land for 46 years. Before 2019 only two States had the nerve to sign a six week Abortion ban into law. They are North Dakota in 2013 and Iowa in 2018 but this year Mississippi and Kentucky have passed six week bans with Missouri, Tennessee and Ohio all working on their own versions of the law. The men are eagerly stroking out their bills against women's rights . UGH! They are planting their seeds to overturn our 30 year Abortion law.
These lawmakers are preparing to send their bills to the Supreme Court meanwhile the only State that could decide differently on a relate-able law is Texas where Roe vs. Wade originated from. Currently in Louisiana only a single doctor is legally allowed to perform abortions. That pig Judge Kavanaugh already wrote a memo that said" he would allow the law to take effect in order to see whether it would impose a burden on women's access abortions." Who waits to see if a law will hurt people? We got rid of all that bad lettuce pretty quickly before it hurt everyone! Wait to see is not the answer.
We still have a majority of Americans who say abortions should be legal in all or most cases.
Let's invite Brett to dinner and give him some of that bad lettuce and just wait and see what happens!
