The NFL National Felon League

Image result for trump not saluting flagThe NFL has become the National Felon League that pays criminals well, doesn’t pay taxes and looks the other way as long as the sponsors are there and folks are buying tickets. The only reason Trump is caressing the flag is because he is trying to deflect attention from the revelation that his daughter and her husband, both who he gave high positions in our government have  e-mail problem too, Navy Seals were killed under his waring orders and his  health plan  got voted down along with that  his tax plan stinks. The felons in the NFL are mad because the honest police won’t give them a green light and let them go with crimes that they deserve to be jailed for. If a cop shoots anyone, there is usually a good reason. It is bad enough that we can’t let our kids look up to that famous football player because they are in the news for committing a crime but now they are telling our kids to disrespect our flag, anthem and the people who fought for our rights wearing the flag on their bloody cloths.
Related imageA black woman named Peggy from the Newly Press did her research and summed up the black protests. The football players making a scene during the singing of the National Anthum are taking to one knee or staying in the locker rooms or locking arms instead of proudly standing with their hand to their heart. They say it is to make their audience aware of police brutality against the black man meanwhile they have a better chance of being struck by lightning than being brutalized by any cop. This protest was started last Friday when police stopped a Los Angeles Rams player who had on his possession a stolen gun, stolen property, his license was revoked or suspended, was speeding put on a chase had weapons materials in the car and got bailed out of jail by the NFL. Why are they protesting? Because America doesn’t believe that famous guys should be immune to the law? Who told the black football player they could abuse their wives, do dog fighting, make their money rain in strip clubs,  buy sports cars for the streets and big homes until they are broke? If a guy gets paid millions of dollars to play a game they should be required to be good role models and contribute money  or at least be the spokespeople for their communities or charities.
The facts are that between the years 2000 and 2014 the NFL players throughout the league had 713 convictions of law breaking. That included 202 DWIs, 88 assaults, 85 domestic abuse charges, 38 gun charges, 35 assaults, 35 alcohol related crashes, 21 burglary and or thefts, 7 murders, and 6 cases of animal abuse. You all remember Michael Vick. The teams who had the highest records of team members who committed the worst crimes were in Minnesota who had 45 members of their teams arrested. The Cincinnati Bengals had 43, Denver had 40, Tennessee Titans had 32, Tampa had 31, Kansas  City had 30, Jacksonville had 29, Miami had 28, Cleveland had 27, San Diego had 26, the Indianapolis Colts had 24, Baltimore had 22, Seattle had 22, New Orleans had 19, Pittsburgh had 19, Washington had 19, Atlanta had 18, 49ner had 18, Buffalo had 17, shockingly Detroit had only 17. Green Bay had 17, New England had 15 arrests. Dallas had 14, New York Giants had 14, New York Jets had 14, Philadelphia had 13, Arizona Cardinals had 11, Houston had 11 and the Rams had 11. The NFL pays thugs very well.
The players are full of crap protesting brutality when so many in their profession are criminals. The problems are not with the cops but are with their poor ethics and behavior. Is the police doing the wife beating and murdering among players? The weapons charges? The drug and speeding and drinking violations? No they are reporting the abuses the players choose to engage in expecting a slap on the wrist because of their fame and fortune. When is the league going to reprimand its players for bad behavior off the field as well as on the field? *5 assaults and 85 domestic abuse arrests are not fine men. The police is not the problems the lack of respect or ethics from the players are the problem. The owners that look the other way are the problem who do not fire these players are the problem. Representing any team as an American sports player should be an earned privilege off and on the field.

I don’t want to watch football players punching and dragging their women off elevators on the nightly news or hear about any of their crimes. I want good sportsman like men representing American football not known criminals. My protest shoes are worn and my feet are tired. Rich league owners step up to the plate and be a real man!
