Where is that cute little comedienne from Saturday Night Live Cheri Oteri that was just as good as Will Farrell or Molly Shannon or even Chris Kattan who were all from that era in 1998 when her most famous movie The Night at the Roxbury was filmed? Even Ana Gasteyer is currently starring in ABC’s comedy Suburgatory. She is so unknown now that they don’t even mention her in most descriptions of that movie meanwhile the scenes where Chris and Will bat her around in the disco are the funniest thing ever.

On Saturday Night Live she played so many memorable characters from being Barbara Walters to being just a perky cheerleader and all were hysterically funny during her reign on that show from 1995-2000. She is not a stand up comic but loves to parody famous women. Cheri grew up in Pennsylvania and was born in 1962 and has never been married. Back in the day she used to date Alec Baldwin when he was cute young and handsome. She is still cute. Like me she comes from a Irish and Italian background.

Cheri says, Being on SNL was like auditioning each week for a show you were already hired to do because you never knew if your skit would be accepted or for how long the skit would air. The cast members who wrote their skits and performed in their skits had the most luck in getting air time. She is currently staring in a off Broadway show called Newsical the Musical for about a month.

It is a sketch show and she took the job mostly so she can visit relatives that were harmed by hurricane Sandy in the area. She is still perky and beautiful. She just needs an agent as good as Will Farrell has to get herself more movie roles and make more millions of dollars like Will has. He doesn’t even live in this country anymore or spends his money in this country that the American movie industry has offered him.

The main fan club for her is her own fan page on Facebook. Hopefully in her movie contracts she did not opt to have a flat fee for her acting appearances in her movies. If she chose even only 1% of the proceeds every time the film is aired somewhere or sold somewhere she could be getting paychecks for the rest of her life based on those past performances.

Her movies include Scary Movie made in 2000 which is a comedy about a group of young people that a year after disposing the body of a man they accidentally killed, this group of dumb teenagers are stalked by a bumbling serial killer.

Cheri appeared in the hit comedy Dumb and Dumberer in 2003. The wacky prequel is to the 1994 original made movie where it goes back to the lame-brained title characters' days as classmates at a Rhode Island high school, where the unprincipled principal (Eugene Levy) puts the pair in remedial courses as part of a scheme to fleece the school.

Oteri then appeared in a movie called Southland Tales in 2006. In this movie California is at the epicenter of a political and environmental disaster that threatens to destroy the world in this ambitious fusion of comedy and drama. It didn’t get good reviews and wasn’t in the theaters for a long time.

She went on to Shrek the Third filmed in 2007. It is an animated hit where in this installment when Shrek’s new father-in-law, King Harold falls ill, Shrek is looked at as the heir to the land of Far, Far Away. Not one to give up his beloved swamp,...

The last major film she appeared in was in 2008 another flop which is called Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous or Major Movie Star. It is a comedy film starring Jessica Simpson. Simpson plays the title role of Megan Valentine in the comedy, about a down-on-her-luck actress who enlists in the United States Army. Will somebody find Cheri Oteri a movie of her own where she can finally be the star?
