After witnessing the happiness and joy shared all over America and throughout Europe in impromptu infectious celebrations over the announcement of a new President, I finally went to sleep happy for a change. It was nice to see the word infectious not being used to describe disease for a change. We all participated and witnessed impromptu infectious happiness. I dreamt of the 2020 remake of the old movie called It's A Wonderful life.
This time the main character George Bailey played by Jimmy Stewart became Joe Biden. They both wanted to leave their same old life but then saw their town changing fast. The greedy guy, Trump was in charge and disease spread everywhere causing death and destruction. Businesses closed . Savings in the bank were depleted. Food lines were everywhere. Supplies in stores were gone. Just like in the old movie but this time Biden had to return to save the town because he knew how. The old movie money grabbing Tyrant was Mr. Potter who even changed the name of the town to Pottersville. We all know Trump would have changed America to Trumpville.
My dream even had the Angel, Clarence in it but in my 2020 version of the movie there were two Angels from heaven guiding Joe in his decision not to jump over the bridge but to return to save the town. The two Angels were Ruth Bader Ginsburg and John Lewis who died and went to heaven in 2020 after their lifetime spent in the town making good trouble. Folks lined up for hours in all kinds of rain and heat and cold to peacefully vote for Joe to return. There were more hopeful lined up to vote then ever before in history. And they voted the greedy corrupt money tyrant Trump OUT of town. Is it possible that dreams do come true? Now I think so.
