Today all Presidents said words about the life of this guy from 1977 Jimmy Carter, George Bush, Bill Clinton and Obama to now in 2020. Trump couldn't be bothered being Presidential. But the most important words came out from his own mouth in a message he wanted published on the day he died. John was a civil rights icon that was our present day representative of voting rights and the fight to end discrimination.
He wrote that if we are to survive as one unified nation we must discover what takes root in our hearts. We are all complicit when we tolerate injustice. Each one of us has a moral obligation to speak up and speak out. If you see something that is not right, you must do something. Each generation must do what they can to build a community and world society at peace. Ordinary people with extraordinary vision can redeem the soul of America by getting in good trouble, necessary trouble. Voting and participating in the Democratic process is important because the vote is the most powerful non violent change we can have in a Democratic society.
I urge you to stand up for what you truly believe. The way of peace and non violence is the more excellent way. It is your turn to let freedom ring. Let your generation to lay down the heavy burdens of hate where peace finally triumphs over violence and war. Walk with the wind and let the spirit of peace be your lasting guide.
