The Road to Normal

The road back to normal is being done by hard work in the  House of Representatives led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. We all agree that testing is the way back to normal. We need to know who has the virus and who doesn't. So she has pushed for and was granted by the rest of Congress $25 billion dollars earmarked for testing. They are requiring that there be a national strategic plan for testing and that there is reporting back as to how it is impacting all sectors of life and communities. Yes, we are at war with an enemy but we don't need guns to fight this war. We need  data, information and tracking so that we can capture the disease prone , treat them and get them away from the healthy population before another 53,000 Americans are dead.
The hard working House of Nancy's have already passed 4 Bills all bi-partisan. The first Bill passed was on March 4th. It was called Testing, Testing, Testing. Here we are a month later and the Senate is still dragging their feet and not passing another Bill. There is the Paycheck Protection Program to help small businesses with their expenses. The goal is to protect our lives as well as our economy both have been ruined in a matter of months. There is the Hero's Bill designed to help those who have worked so hard to keep the economy going. The first responders in hospitals and in our supermarkets and essential  businesses.
It is all about jobs and getting our economy functioning as well as controlling our health needs. Thank you
