Trump could care for Americans if he wanted to.

If Trump really cared about the opioid problem of drugs in America killing citizens, then he would use our tax dollars on Naloxone Rescue Kits giving the kits  out to everyone for free just like Regan gave out free government cheese. Naloxone can cost as little as five  cents a dose to produce so don’t go complaining about the cost of government handouts again. The only problem Mexico and America has with each other is the booming business of drugs. They have it and we will buy it. And half of Americans are hooked on the expensive habit of drug use. Trump could at least be giving families a dose of hope to save the addicted lives of their loved ones.

Almost a half century ago in 1971 emergency rooms started reversing opioid overdoses using the medicine Naloxone. Now it is easier to get and is a generic solution to an emergency. Even our Surgeon General came out with an advisory calling on more Americans to carry Naloxone just in case. It can revive old people who took too many pain killers, bartenders can use it for folks who pass out from too much alcohol consumption, folks with addicted kids and kids who have addicted parents need to kave this stuff at the ready.

The problem is that it can be complicated to get Naloxone for  everyone to use. Why Donald Trump (who just spent his time pouting about his stupid wall and then going golfing again at his tax paid trips to his privately owned and profited from golf resort palace) isn’t  making this stuff available and accessible to us all? Naloxone is a miracle drug in hospitals. You can’t get high on it, you can’t overdose on it and you can just save a life with it. It is amazing! It literally can bring folks back from the brink of death quickly.

Not much in life or medicine can do what Naloxone can do. You just spray the stuff up a passed out person’s nose and within seconds they are gasping for a revived air. In Salt Lake City Police and firefighters have Naloxone with them all the time and they have to  use it a lot and are saving lives since most of their calls are not fire related or police related but medical. In Conservative Utah they average a opioid death every day and emergency responders give out dosages of Naloxone at least twice per day. Tax payers would be saving a lot of money on emergency responding if we all had Naloxone available to us all like we can buy Band-Aids .

The drug doesn’t fix addiction but it does give someone a second chance at life.  At least all states have finally made it legal for anyone to carry Naloxone. It can also be used in an emergency for a heart attack, diabetes passing out and a stroke just to quickly revive someone. Hospitals give it out for free and they can only purchase it through Grant money. WHY????? Our government with our tax dollars should be providing this life saving revival drug FOR FREE. Cancer and drug addiction are chronic relapsing conditions and we need an emergency kit to deal with these common problems in our society. If America is going to continue to waste their money on just to get high drugs from Mexico then America should also be investing in low cost medicine to revive us all.
