Remember the Women

People are quick to criticize important women in politics but they don’t even know the name of the most heroic of women who sadly after 200 years in this country, women are still just achieving firsts. We at least could try to remember prominent women when they die. She was a prominent aviator who piloted war planes from 30,000 feet and above. She was the first woman to become a United States Navy Fighter Pilot. Recently in Tennessee in tribute Navy fighter planes flew in formation and those pilots were all women for the first time in history too.

The all women sendoff was for the funeral of Captain Rosemary Mariner who died at 65 years old after a battle with ovarian cancer. She was the first woman to earn her Navy wings in 1973. She was the first woman to fly a tactical fighter jet. She became the first woman squadron Commanding Officer. Once she earned her wings she also earned the respect of her Navy Commander John McCain. Her husband was also a Navy pilot. Now there is a new generation of female pilots protecting us all in the skies. It was just 20 years ago that women were not common protecting us in fighter planes. This woman changed it all. Rosemary Mariner in 1991 at Naval Air Station LeMoore in Southern California, was commander of a Navy tactical electronic warfare squadron. She logged 17 landings on aircraft carriers and more than 3,500 flight hours in 15 different aircraft.

She later successfully fought for a congressional measure that lifted a ban on women serving in combat. In a reference to women being barred from combat, she told the public that her nearly 20 years in the Navy had taught her, “if you cannot share the equal risks and hazards in duty, then you are not equal. And if the institution can discriminate against you, then it’s not a big leap for bigots to decide that well, I can harass you and I can get away with it.” THE HARRASSMENT OF PELOSI, HILLARY OCASIO AND OTHER POLITICAL WOMEN LEADERS MUST STOP.

Captain Mariner was a leader of the organization Women Military Aviators. In 1992, she worked with members of Congress that were mostly men, and a Defense Department advisory board to overturn laws and regulations keeping women from combat. EVENTUALLY WOMEN MUST BE ELECTED TO VICE-PRESIDENT AND PRESIDENT IN AMERICA.

The bigotry and slander MUST stop. Hillary is the most qualified person to lead this country. She is a ivy league lawyer who knows the Constitution and our laws. Dedicated her life to health care issues. Senator, First Lady, Secretary of State, Presidential Candidate. Bill balanced the budget. She knows the White House inside and out and international relations. She has withstood all kinds of lies and discrimination and slander. She is kind and tough!



Pelosi is currently in her 17th term as a congresswoman, representing California's 12th congressional district (since 2013), which consists of four-fifths of the city and county of San Francisco. She initially represented the 5th district (1987–1993), and then, when district boundaries were redrawn after the 1990 Census, the 8th district(1993–2003). She has led House Democrats since 2003 (the first woman to lead a party in Congress), serving as Speaker twice (2007–2011 and 2019–present) and as House Minority Leader twice (2003–2007 and 2011–2019) depending upon whether Democrats or Republicans held the majority; she has also served as House Minority Whip (2002–2003).




Pelosi was a major opponent of the Iraq War as well as the Bush Administration's 2005 attempt to privatizeSocial Security. During her first speakership, she was instrumental in the passage of many landmark bills, including the Affordable Care Act, the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act, along with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and 2010 Tax Relief Act which served as economic stimulus amidst the Great Recession.




QUALIFED COPETENT WOMEN MUST FINALLY BE REMEMBERED AND RESPECTED IN OUR GOVERNMENT
