Our Nation's Narcissist

It is clear that Trump has untreated mental illnesses. Among the many symptoms, his narcissism is spilling over into American’s lives and showing its ugly head daily.  Narcissistic Personality Disorder   is the inflated sense of self-importance and an extreme preoccupation with oneself. Sure we all should love ourselves first and foremost but it can be a dangerous condition if we toss aside the needs and wants of everyone around us to constantly promote and be preoccupied with your own self-promotion no matter what. What happens when we have this narcissistic person gifted with extreme power? We have Donald Trump.

People are noticing his condition and are considering doing something about removing him from being the leader of this great nation. The possible use of the 25^th Amendment of the Constitution is being considered that is all about removing a President who is incapacitated, a nut job. According to Bob Woodward’s book called FEAR, who has been writing about 6 Presidents in his lifetime, Trump’s lawyers told him not to testify in the Mueller Investigation on Russian involvement in our election because he is incapable of telling the truth. You must have a serious mental illness when even your own lawyers don’t trust what you will say at any given moment. That behavior makes it impossible for a lawyer to defend you.

We have to stop treating his narcissism as just a personality tick but as the serious illness that it is especially when the mentally ill are put in key decision making positions that can affect ALL our lives. Part of Trump’s problematic lying is to say whatever he wants and tagging on “in history” especially when he refers to himself as being the greatest President in history. He says lies about his policies on the environment, the economy, immigration, healthcare, wealth of the average American, gun control, the opioid crisis, trade, tariffs, pharmaceutical prices and wages as if he is creating the greatest conditions on all subjects in history. It has been calculated that he has lied even in his own statements about 500 times.

In the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders of the American Psychiatric Association it clearly describes President Trump. Why isn’t he being subjected to mental evaluations as part of his physical exams by his doctor? He seems to pick and choose his doctor according to his narcissistic behavior by only seeing doctors that say unrealistic super power health things about him. Do we need an independent council for his medical exams too?

When all his closest advisors became convicted felons and even his personal lawyer is going to jail, Trump immediately goes to re-election rallies three times a week and simply flecks off the serious convicted felonies as a “witch hunt or no collusion”. Is this how Hitler rose to power? Hitler had his followers who were convinced that it was just fine to throw live people into ovens and they did it on his orders. Narcissism is why Trump has no empathy, no comprehension of others situations and is why he created orphans and deliberately took young children away from their parents because they walked into this country.

After the 911 disaster destroyed the tallest buildings in New York, the Twin Towers, he said, ‘Now my building is the tallest in New York”. Narcissism is why Trump can be a traitor but think he is a patriot especially with him and the Russians. Our government is corrupt because of his narcissism. Our Supreme Court Justices are being chosen according to party lines and not being chosen to represent all people of this country. He threatens any politician who dares not to agree with him and does manage to ruin their careers as he did to seasoned FBI and CIA and judges with his constant firings.

Trump’s narcissism is apparent when he takes sides with our enemies and meets with the leaders of communist nations and says that” I like him  and I believes he likes me a lot”  as he said with China’s President, Putin and the President of North Korea meanwhile they suppress and control their people. Does any other world leader feel the need to be “liked” by him? Most seriously, Trump’s narcissism is why he is so stupid and doesn’t even use or take the advice of the many agencies who research problems and solutions. He takes his advice from FOX News personalities, Alex Jones internet personalities and never learns or takes advice from professionals in their field. He will take advice only from those who give him constant praise like a trained dog.

He is uncorrectable because that would mean that he is wrong and with a narcissist, their condition tells them that they can never be wrong. America was wrong to allow him to be our President.
