Denuclearization is not a new subject. In fact in 1985, 1992, 1995 and in 2012 the hope was discussed at length. Trump met the North Korean Dictator once and has nothing but praise for the young man. Does Trump even know that he is a totalitarian communist dictator who is as bad as Hitler was? In North Korea there is murder, torture, imprisonment, enslavement, sexual violence, starvation, forced abortions, political and religious persecution. The conditions in North Korea is the closest thing we have to Hitler in modern times. Trump didn't even talk about the human violations going on there. He did mention the possibility of building a Trump Hotel in North Korea for his personal profit. Trump proves yet again that he is all about making himself great again and could care less about the safety of Americans. The meeting was hastily planned without any pre-conditions. Trump said that he didn't need to plan anything "because it is all about attitude." The Korean leader has been the dictator since 2011 and is very much set in his ways and has lied to America many times in the past.
Now the North Korean Foreign Ministry accused the Trump administration of pushing a gangster-like demand for denuclearization. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been virtually ignored in the three times he has visited the region since the President's visit. So, what has Trump accomplished besides nothing again? The Secretary of State went to Pyongyang and came back home with no results. Trump has gone from "fire and fury" to being very quiet on the matter. If anything Trump should be talking more to the dictator of China who has been funding North Korea with all the weapons they want. China wants and likes communist North Korea at their border. Trump won't negotiate with China because Trump is in bed with China who has made him personally very wealthy with his and his daughter's branding deals in China.
Are we any safer? No. Has North Korea put down their weapons? No. Trump has failed yet again.
