His Foot is in His Mouth

Thanks to Trump’s big mouth the New York terrorist will NEVER get the death penalty which he wants and surely deserves. Most Presidents are educated or at least seek the advice of educated people. Not this guy. Most Presidents are lawyers and know the Constitution and all it stands for and the laws of the land. Not this guy. Most Presidents   have carefully thought out paragraphs that are worth remembering. Not this guy. He doesn’t think twice and can only speak in tweets.

Presidents are typically advised NEVER to publicly weigh in on pending criminal cases. This terrorist has a pending criminal case for all the lives he killed. Such comments by a President publicly can be used by defense attorneys to argue that their clients cannot get a fair trial. That unable to get a fair trial concept has already been presented to the court thanks to Trump’s big mouth. On November 2, Trump wrote in a tweet,   “Should move fast. Death Penalty” Trump didn’t hesitate to tamper with the court system and said this one day after the terrorist killed and wounded innocent bystanders. Trump went on to now insult our Justice System and told reporters that it is a “Laughing Stock”.

There are only two ways that a President can effectively, dramatically and directly affect the administration of justice in this country.1. The President can pardon people.

                                                                        2. The President can go down a list of criminal Defendants and say, that he thinks a person is super guilty but he can not suggest a sentence.

When Trump said that the terrorist should get the death penalty he gravely interfered with the Justice System. Yes, in this country we are used to taking whatever our Presidents say very seriously. With this nut job at our helm, nothing should be taken seriously that he says ever. When he recklessly says that a trial should end with the death penalty, the trial will not end that way. The United States of America is NOT run by a dictator and in fact we fought for our fair Constitution and our settlers fought for the right to fair trials and to not be forced to have religious persecution. We all agree that this terrorist should get his head chopped off as they practice in his religion but we need to determine that in our FAIR and UNBIASED court system.

Everyone here is entitled to a fair trial and will get court appointed lawyers to defend them even if they do such a terrible crime as this terrorist did do. In this country we are held to a higher standard. We brought the terrorist to the hospital and cared for him despite his wanting to display the ISIS flag. We are showing the world that America is a fair country and act in a civilized way. Trump wants to shoot him in the middle of town. The President’s remarks about the sentence the accused should receive has legal bearing.

NOW BECAUSE OF THE PRESIDENT’S TWEET THE TERRORIST OBVIOUS SUSPECT IN THE NEW YORK CITY ATTACK WILL NOT EVER GET THE DEATH PENALTY IN THIS COUNTRY!

Was the President’s remarks naming a sentence of the death penalty intentional or just an act of stupidity? We all know he has a wacky good intention for this country but his stupidity takes over any sensible thought he might have originally had. Someone should have told Trump that he is saving the terrorist life by tweeting that statement. Trump had no filter and doesn’t realize the consequences he says to anyone. His arrogance is appalling. He doesn’t even know how important his job really is. At least Obama was a great orator and spoke intelligently and very carefully about everything. Education does that to people not reality show hosts that was born with a silver spoon in every orifice and says things without a thought behind their statements. This spoiled brat of our current President is exhausting and belongs in a time out permanently.
