Trump's Faulty Plan

Trumps new plan to simply send more of our troops into harm’s way in Afghanistan should have included other ways to deal with the never ending problems there. The corrupt government there gives us no hope for the region to ever be stable. Nothing is ever accomplished by wars except that sometimes one side just gives up from exhaustion and finally says the word peace. The war in Afghanistan has gone on for so long that there is a new generation of young men who no nothing else but war. They can only imagine peace in their hearts as being found in heaven after death. Americans like their lives here on earth and just don’t think like those harden cold children who saw all they loved die before their eyes.

Trump was always a harsh critic of Obama and taunted him daily to end the war in Afghanistan. Obama cut down on all the troops. Obama even killed Bin Laden successfully but the hate continues. Trump needs to consider a different approach to war. More funds should be spent on education and not on bombs and putting any more of our very generous citizens willing to put their lives on the line just to be killed. Unlike the people of Afghanistan, our soldiers want to live. The people of Afghanistan   want to die with the mindset that it will give them some glory or points in heaven.  Why don’t we have internet propaganda promoting the American way of life that spreads in that country describing how wonderful life could be with good food, clean water, loving families, educating children, jobs, wealth, culture and the possibility of being able to worship whatever religion you want and let the world see the beauty of your faithful w

Our minds are infinitely more valuable than any weapon. But if we have to go the way of killing people let’s do it in the most sophisticated   ways we can do it. Our colleges are filled with engineering students making the most amazing new products now. Engineering is the new wave of jobs in the future. Save our precious fragile bodies and send drones to war. Someone needs to educate Trump!

We have the capabilities to send swarms of drones with weapons to anywhere we want to. How can they hide from that! The ethical question is how can the human  race  survive this new kind of genocide. Even Einstein regretted the invention of nuclear power that now we \have 40 or more years of very dangerous nuclear waste scattered all over the United States with no safe place to dump it.  America has the drone technology to make swarms of drones go quickly into dangerous areas with no fear. They can be programed to seek out people and not stop following them till they are killed. It all sounds like a frighteningly awful science fiction movie but it can be real in our life time. Yes it can also be just another way to destroy us all.

The tiny drones can fly themselves. The humans program their on board computers to do a task. The equipment is so sophisticated that the drones can act autonomously. Yes they will regroup on their own and surround the targets till they are killed. It can look like a terrible scene from the Alfred Hitchcock movie called The Birds who attack people in swarms.  It is a completely different level of warfare and maneuvers. The drones are called Perdix who drive to high and too fast to follow. We had a Pentagon office called the Strategic Capabilities Office that have been developing this autonomous warfare. The drones have been tested over the California Desert. Trump hates to consult with experts in their fields. Trump hates to consult with our branches of the military. He gets advice from his rich buddies who know nothing about war.

Perdix is named after a bird found in Greek Mythology. We could learn more from Greek Mythology how they worshiped Gods of the earth Gaea or Mother Earth, sea,  Poseidon and sky Ouranos. Then maybe we would be taking better care of our precious things given to us for free on earth. The deadly drones are only as big as the size of your hand. Deadly tiny electronic weapons in the sky. These devises were developed by MIT’s talented engineers in their Lincoln Labs. They are designed to operate as a team to swarm, circle and attack the target. Their technology has them communicating with each other many times per second. No human could work with such speed and accuracy. Is war ready to get serious? God help the humans everywhere!
