He Is Impeached

He is Impeached now because he betrayed the American people to seek the trust from a foreign power in our elections again. This is America's global Watergate. Then, Nixon looked for dirt on his political opponent by breaking into his  opponents file cabinets for information. Trump did it by asking a foreign leader for information if he wanted money. As we now face a trial in the Senate and Trump still claims innocence after the testimony of at least 17 credible witnesses of his wrongdoings, then why won't he let all the President's men testify? 

Nixon had his top people testify. We should be hearing from Trump's current Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney who said he was going to hold funds approved to the foreign govt. pending receiving dirt on Trump's political opponent. Bolton should testify because he told the staff to lawyer up after they met with Trump asking for favors. If President Trump thinks he should not be Impeached by the Senate too he should not withhold phone calls, documents or witnesses and comply with subpoenas and even testify himself as Clinton did during his Impeachment hearings. 

Too many Americans have died in battles fighting off foreign aggression to our ideals and have honored our Constitution to have it all go down in ruins now just because we have an outspoken bully in the White House presently  who blackmails all his other Republicans into silence for fear of ruination of their own careers if they do not remain silent on this issue. 

So why Impeach now? Why not just wait a year for the election and vote him out? Because it has been proven that our last election was compromised due to Russian interference and evidence proves that they are trying it again. Even our voting machines made in China are compromised. Our Republic and Democracy is at risk like no other time in history.

Trump was Impeached by more votes than any of the other three Impeached Presidents had. He is the only President to be Impeached in his first term in office. So why don't the Republicans want to proceed with the Impeachment in the Senate and provide witnesses to testify? Trump was Impeached in the House under Article II because he wouldn't cooperate with any investigation or subpoena.

The Republican Senators want it to proceed to the courts. The Democratic majority of the House could win in the District Court. Then they would spend time on appeals until it goes in front of the Republican dominated Supreme Court that Trump quickly appointed. He will then claim absolute immunity and all that mess would take a year to sort out. Then the witnesses would claim Executive Privilege and still not testify. Go back to court into the next year and still request them to answer questions. What a mess!

Should we wait till Trump cheats again in the next election and then do something about it? No. If this Impeachment is just a word and nothing else now then this country may never ever again recover from such a corrupt President. America has never ever seen such a mobster in our government ever before in history.
