Kamala Harris is that attractive smart girl who grew up in a era where black folks were seen differently not just as popular singing groups but as successful intelligent contenders in the game of life. She attended the all black Howard University in the 1980's when the very first black woman, Vanessa Williams became Miss New York and won a beauty pageant and then became Miss America in 1984. We never saw the Cosby Show before where the black parents were wealthy smart professionals a doctor and a lawyer in the same household. Those influences has her saying now, "you can do everything and you can do anything" striving for excellence in your own lives. She speaks like what a inspirational American leader should speak like.
With that attitude Kamala was recruited onto the college debate team. She is a first-generation American raised in Berkeley, California. Her mother is Indian and her father is Jamaican. She was bussed to learn in white schools so she was raised into a very multicultural environment and thrived because of her early influences in life. Her mother was one of the leading scientists in America and highly respected for her work across the world for her involvement in Cancer research.
Kamala has never lost an election. She ran for Freshman Representative in high school and won. Ran for District Attorney and won. Ran for Attorney General and won. Ran for Senate and won. Now she is running for President.
