Show them the money!

Today there is a huge parade in New York City to honor our beautiful women athletes of Soccer. It is time that we recognize that women are dominating in all sports becoming the greatest of athletes in their field and more importantly wonderful role models who could also be super models for our youth. Since our President doesn't do or say much worth remembering then at least let us all be proud of our world class women athletes. We have the women's Connecticut Basketball team that have been in first place for a decade, we have the William sisters in Tennis that always win tennis tournaments and Team U.S.A. in Gymnastics that dominated the Olympics with its Gold Medal team. But this Soccer team will no longer be silent and we need to hear their voices because they are skilled, smart, beautiful and talented. They will not be silent about their pay discrimination, they will not be silent about Trump and his disrespect for women in his life and in his governing and they will not be silent in their inspirational thoughts. When asked what is the best thing their coaches have taught them they replied. "Never stop learning, you always have something new to learn and keep improving on. " They are truly inspirational and have earned the respect they deserve. 

This United States FIFA Women's World Cup 2019 Champions have secured a record 4 Cup Title this past weekend. Suddenly 16 million folks tuned in to watch women's soccer. We all watched them run circles around the other world's teams with no time outs or rest and the amazing women never even seemed to be out of breath ever. The scored a record 13 goals against Thailand, knocked out Spain and France, and with one penalty kick Alyssa Naeher took the team to the finals.

With all this greatness the disgusting truth is that women still don't get the respect or money they deserve despite this team generating higher ratings and higher revenue in recent years than the men's team. Men out earn women by three to one. The men receive $263,000. The women receive $99,000. This is ridiculous since the men's soccer team hasn't received any higher than third place and that happened in 1930. Seriously!!!
