It was brothers Anthony and Joe Russo the Co-Directors of the last Avengers movie called Endgame that decided that it was a good idea to kill off Spiderman. They directed four Avengers big hit movies including Infinity War. Who kills off our ever loved superheros? Well they turned him to dust. Their logic is that it is the narrative of life that you don't always win. The recent series of movies brought in over $18 billion dollars. Yes Billlions even though some of the movies lasted over three hours. This weekend the last of the series is drawing billions of people to the movies world wide.
The theme in so many of the comics is about adversity and working alongside people who are completely different from you. The Avengers super hero should not be in a room together. They are all very different types of people Yet in the most recent movies they are together in the same movie and they are able to get along to fight for the common good. I wish real folk could do that in real life.
It all began with 2008's Iron Man. People were astounded when many turned to dust in the movie called Infinity War. In the movie called Spiderman Homecoming there was a real friendship with hugging and all between Spiderman and Iron Man as they fought through a civil war. Spiderman never had a conflict he couldn't overcome yet in that movie Spiderman literally turns to dust in his hands. How outrageous!!! None of the old comic books ever had our guys die!
Can it be that these stupid superhero movies are unifying the world for once? This weekend there already are riots in the Philippians of fans racing to theaters to get a ticket. Theaters are showing 24 hour showings to keep up with the demand. People are wearing diapers to watch the entire series in theaters since you can order food to your seat but can't go to the bathroom from your seat. UGH!
So this last movie i guess, is called Avengers Endgame where the existing superheros assemble to save the world. Sigh! I guess we all have to see how they do that at least as some learning video on how we all can possible save our own real world.
