America IS Socalist

Trump is trying to make the word Socialism a dirty word and his supporters believe what ever lies he says. We already have many social programs in America and we all have benefited from their services so why the controversy now? We have the Department of Agriculture, Amber Alerts, Amtrak, Public Beaches, Public Busing Services, Business Subsidies, The Census Bureau, The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Federal Student Loans, The Court System, Dams, Public Defenders, Disability Insurance, The Department of Energy, The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Farm Subsidies, The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), The Federal Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Fire Departments, Food Stamps, Garbage Collection, Health Care, Public Housing, Medicare, Medicaid, The Military, State and National Monuments, Public Museums, National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA), The National Weather Service, National Public Radio (NPR), Public Parks, Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), The Peace Corps, Police Departments, Prisons and Jails, Public Schools, Secret Service, Sewer Systems, Snow Removal Services, Social Security, Public Street Lighting, The Department of Transportation(DOT Highways, Roads and Bridges, The United States Postal Service(USPS), Vaccines, Veteran Healthcare, Welfare, The White House, The WIC Program and State Zoos. 

A Democratic Socialist is not a Marxist Socialist or a Communist. A Democratic Socialist is still a Capitalist, just one who seeks to restrain the self-destructive excesses of Capitalism and channel government's use of our tax money into creating opportunities for everyone. Democratic Socialists believe that that both the economy and society should be run Democratically to meet human needs, not simply to make profits for a greedy few.So leave Bernie Saunders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez alone when the support socialist programs that all Americans need and want.
