Is Sexy Gone?

He had the life that every man dreamed he could have had and women wondered if they could have the courage to be like his women. It was a life where he was in his morning robe all day, had sex multiple times a day often with multiple women, never got any sexual disease, was a millionaire and   died  in his sleep at the age of 91. Hugh Heffner was a huge reflection of the sexual revolution. The cultural icon was the founder of Playboy magazine, the magazine that taught young boys more about women than any person ever did.
Hugh Hefner was the ultimate playboy who hosted parties at his mansion daily inviting some of the most beautiful and sexually free women on earth to have fun. He was always surrounded by a harem of young women and celebrities in his bathrobe and slippers. He was always ready for bed. Who gets to live a life like that? He started he quest for free sexual expression in the 1950’s in an era where families were promoted as the good life with their new cars, homes and appliances. Not a time when free sex and various types of relationships were acceptable. So, he became a pioneer.

It became an instant success that led to a publishing empire and a mystique of that every man could have the James Bond type of sex life. It led to TV shows and an entire empire of private key clubs where waitresses were required to wear skimpy bunny costumes.
Related imageBy the 1970’s Heffner was attacked by feminists for exploiting women. He would defend his empire by saying that Playboy exploited sex as Sports Illustrated exploited sports. By 1988 his attendance and profits dropped and he closed the last of his exclusive clubs. Playboy Enterprises Inc. still exists and does have a sexy audience. He gave his still profitable magazine to his daughter Christie. Heffner had multiple marriages that included playmates. In his seventies he went back to his bachelor ways sleeping with multiple women on a regular basis. He had seven girlfriends all in their twenties in his senior years. They stared in his reality show called The Girls Next Door. His sexual desires always seemed to draw profits for him.

At age 86 in 2012 Heffner got married again this time to a 26 year old woman. He simply said that his age has changed but his love for beautiful young women hasn’t changed. When asked what he was most proud of in his life he said he was glad that he was able to change people’s attitudes towards sex. While we slaved at our jobs and families we all kept an eye on this guy and his extraordinary successful fun life.
