Facebook Profits from Russia

We can blame the big divide in America on social media like Facebook who will post anything for profit. Americans will believe anything they see or hear. How do we even know what is real news from fake news? Recently the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg admitted that the Russians were buying advertisements on Facebook reporting fake stories. Apparently there is no ethics or even a sense of fairness on social media.  Like everything else, profits are more important than ethics.

In a video Mark admitted that Russian agents did in fact buy thousands of advertisements during the election attacking Hillary Clinton and praising Donald Trump. Now months after the election Facebook will turn those advertisements over to Congress. We have a Republican Congress that will do nothing. The time to reveal this information was before the election Facebook!

The Russians are all over the place on Facebook with Russian-linked advertisements. Mark recently turned over 3,000 Russian-linked political advertisements. Finally the CEO of Facebook says that he doesn’t want anyone to undermine our Democracy. Russian companies spent more than $100,000 on the advertisements. Before Facebook refused to reveal who paid for political advertisements. Now Mark says that the policy will change. We need more than a revelation of just who is paying for an advertisement. Zuckerberg should be sued for treason for allowing a foreign country to interfere with our election process.

The damage to the election process wasn’t done just through advertisements but there was a huge number of fake Facebook pages linked to the Russians. Who is policing the news that is presented to the public in fairness anymore? They even posted fake Facebook pages of supposedly American families in favor of Trump but the faces were pictures of people really from foreign countries. Only Facebook knows the answers as to which states were targeted and which voters they were trying to sway. Facebook is a place where everyone freely writes their opinions and views on any subject so, your personal views are out there. It is a perfect place to suck you into their political vacuum

Facebook is still keeping the whereabouts a secret. Why? If Mark is revealing that it happened then why not reveal where it happened too.  Now we have this nut job as our President throwing paper towel rolls at the American victims of disasters. It seems that these Russian advertisements were directed to the swing states during the election. How many times does Hillary have to be betrayed in her lifetime?
